Sonic 1 was released in 91, so by the time Adventures came out in 98 people have grown up so they wanted to increase the age appeal. ^_^ It's a good move.

Yeah there is a major difference between classic and Adventure Era. I was a big fan right from the begining. I was in high school just as Sonic Adventure came out and I was loving the new look. I've noticed that Modern's (Colors Era?) quill length is more in between the two.

Thanks. Yes, I was so happy with Mania. I loved that they brought back the old side-scrolling style. Felt like the 90s again. I was so happy to see Mighty as a playable character. I haven't seen him since Knuckles Chaotix for the 32X. I do also enjoy the 3D stuff too. I have not played Frontiers but I have enjoyed watching the playthrough.
