Sadly, things never will be back to where they were. I miss the 2000's and 2010's, but that's never going to make a return and it sucks. However, I don't fully believe things will only get worse from here, every century has it's own "depression" which means, we'll eventually get out of it.

Things will get worse, and will get better too, life is like a roller coaster with his ups and downs. Sometimes the downs are really hard, other times they are not that big, but we perceive them bigger than they are. And sometimes there are ups we don't see or appreciate, cause they are there everyday. The past is gone, and there is no reason to be sad about that, be glad that you have future in front of you, and you can try and shape it as best as you can.
