I need an Audio editing app

for android or iPad. Any reccomendarions?
More specifically, I have to edit the sound of a recording, where the music is just fine, but when ppl are talking the sound is too quite. I thought I can just cut the video and adjust the sound like this, but sometimes they are talking over the music and I think I need something a bit more advanced than YouCut for this ^^'

Or if you know where I can ask for app reccomendarions on this, cuz my foogle searches have failed me, I have no idea how to even form the search query x.X

I googled "sound layer editor"
As I think that's something you should look for. I'm not an expert on this at all but I know there are tools that can separate certain frequencies/sounds

(Like instruments or speech) especially as tech gets more advanced. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I’ll check it out! <3
I didn’t think of using “layer” as a keyword, this makes sense, I think 😅

Davinci resolve. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve
Very powerful free all in one editor. It does require you to sign up to get the download link but its just by giving your name. Non-intrusive and again 100% free. Plenty of vids on how to use it as well.
And noticed the edit stating android or ipad when page refreshed to post this. Not sure if it works for those. Should for ipad I would think, but might require an external keyboard and mouse.

Yeah,  I am a bit restricted to mobile devices but I’ve seen some pretty good software for iPads, so I was hoping there would be something that will do ^^

For my course work I teach at a University I usually splice my audio using Audacity prior to applying it to my lecture recordings. However, I tend to just edit my audio tracks lately inside of OpenShot while I am working on the lecture videos. In the past though, Audacity had treated me well, good open source software.
