In short - More creative freedom!
In long - We want the process of creating art to not damage us mentally. To achieve this, there will be a new system for how we do commissions. You contact 'eltaile' in Discord, show your character, describe your wishes and preferences, and offer a price. Then, after we agree to take commission and process payments, we start working. However, we will approach it with complete creative freedom. This means we may not follow your original vision, wishes, preferences, etc. Comm may be flat-colored or shaded; it depends on our choice. We won't do any fixes or changes.
So be ready, and be warned that the end result probably won't match what you imagined. We may or may not draw what you want. Be ready for that. But if you are looking for a surprise, or maybe just your character in our style, this may be for you. We also cancel slot limits because we don't have overflow of orders right now.
We are not professional artists. We just chose the way of art. Commissions were always stressful for us because we put on ourselves too much pressure and responsibility (comparing to drawing our regular content). This damages us so much in terms of mental stability. We just burn out very quickly and completely stop taking any commissions for months. There were cases of art blocks and mental breakdowns too. Besides, when you offer your price and you are aware of what to expect, we may not judge ourselves so much. We want the comms to feel like when we draw Suvi for it to be enjoyable. Art should not be pain. Art should be fun for both creators and viewers!
