Hello again,
I wanted to just give a short update on my story. Still pending on it's name, but like I have mentioned before, it'll be about my Torchic.
Chic is on a quest to do good and help others in need, but her the kingdom she lives in is a little too squeaky clean to make a real impact. With strong, personal desires to help others in their hardships, the bold chicken sneaks out of the walls during the mornings. Her ambitions leads her to new friends and foes, that all have their own story to tell. Along the way, she'll deal with overcoming odds and facing her own emotional issues with the aid of everyone she meets along the way. Chic's on a time limit everyday, trying to sneak back in before the night ends so her absence isn't noticed.
That's a short summary on it, though I will more likely update it when the story is done. If anyone does end up wanting a sneak peek on it, I can provide. As of now I am still on first draft with plenty of grammatical errors and some plot inconsistencies that I will need to touch up on when I finish the whole thing. I've had most of the story in mind before writing it, but I have changed some details along the way so I am a little hesitant on sharing to anyone for that reason.
Also also, I said it'll be 250 pages last update, but I think that is way off mark. I'm aiming for somewhere around 325, though this is with it being double space. I may change the format and add images in that can really shift the value around. Pages are an arbitrary number for that reason, but we'll see when I finish. Currently is sits at 74476 words, so if that means something more, there it is. I plan on having it all done by March next year, latest April which would be fitting seeing as I have been writing every night (Minus a week of covid) since April this year.
Finally, I did get laid off a couple of months ago, and while money isn't really an issue, finding a job has been since. I'm a little picky on what I want to do, so I have been trying to get specific stuff. Until then, I am thinking of doing writing commissions. If that interest you, inquire and we can talk details. I don't even know where to start on pricing and stuff.
