Sonic was quite literally thrown out of his thoughts and into the gate he had entered with enough force to tear the wooden door from its hinges. He had shifted just enough that the pack was spared the impact, and twisted to land on all fours.
His back arched, quills bristling in a defensive posture. He showed all his sharp rodent teeth in a vicious snarl towards the destroyed doorway. The pack slid off his shoulder and he hunched over it, emerald eyes desperately searching for whatever had attacked him.
His breath came in panicked, short pants. Sharp teeth clicked as their owner tried to keep his focus. He had to keep a lid on his panic. That thing was here with him. He could feel it watching him, almost as if savoring his barely contained panic.
He had to spot it before it attacked him again…
A friend of mine was writing a story, and she painted this fabulous picture in my head, so I had to draw it out~ He’s just been attacked by an invisible enemy and fighting invisible things freaks him out.
