Character Description
This character was inspired by a street dog I've met around the factory where I work.
Can-Can is a dog cub that lives in the Hideout with many other homeless sentient animals. She was born from human scientific research, and the clear evidence is her unnatural strength. This excess of physical strength is what makes her useful for the Hideout, because she takes all the heavy work that nobody else want to do. She doesn't talk very much, and in fact, she can barely talk, due to the unfinished and defective development in her nervous system.
There's something else, and it's her innate terminal disease. In the worst of cases, she could never reach the age of 16-18 alive. She ignores this security procedure applied to her body.
Personality
Can be playful, but is mostly a quiet pup. Despite her huge strength, she's quite a coward girl, and runs to hide if something scares her. When she's scared, she bites without any kind of doubt.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes to meet other children and play with them. Loves to be scratched in sensitive parts of her body, like her belly or ears. She likes to play Hide and Seek. Her favorite TV shows are Care Bears, My Little Pony and Dora the Explorer.
She dislikes to be leashed, dislikes fireworks, and dislikes when somebody makes fun about her way to talk. She dislikes the tiny fox Vanessa, who bully her without mercy at the first chance she can find.
Background/History
Can-Can has born as a test-tube baby, as result of a classified human experimentation. After some development, she was classified as a defective specimen and was stored in a contention cell for posterior study. After the closure of the entire complex, she stayed inactive for an unknown amount of time, until she was awakened by Chian & Candy.
Relatives/Family
In theory, there are many other individuals like her hiding around the known setting of my world. They could be considered genetical siblings so, she could have hundred of brothers and sisters.
She's very fond of Chian and Floppy. Her favorite playmates are Pompon and the little Lambbit. There's a red-furred outsider dog who also plays with her sometimes.
Can-Can is very attached to her teacher, the Professor Requiem.
World/Setting
Body
Her body is short and chubby, like mostly young animals. The fur in her head and ears was kept short at the beginning, but lately she prefered to let her fur grow, giving her a more fluffy look.
Clothing
The single piece of clothing around her body was originally mentioned as a "rubber swinsuit", but is really a protective clothing made of Nanomail, a very resistant tissue what it's bullet-proof, fire-proof, and most important, it's psionic-proof. It is washable and only can be opened by the back part.
