2. I ran the previous img2img with a scale of 0.5 to get an image that would be just a sketch, not a detailed one—it will serve as a guide for the model in the next step. It turned out pretty well. It’s worth mentioning that the Euler sampler is better at the very beginning of the process than Euler A (which tries to add things that aren’t there with each subsequent sampling step… apparently “Euler A” is a delusional version of “Euler”). For line art, I especially recommend the “Euler” sampler.

I noticed that it’s worth redrawing this image one more time with the same parameters but a different seed, and this time with a scale of 1—I’m sticking with the same size. It’s still a sketch, but it shouldn’t be any smaller now. The current resolution for further processing is 768x1280.

" Model: furryLineartXl_v30
Sampler: Euler
Schedule type: Karras
CFG scale: 4.5
Denoising: 0.5
Resize scale: 1.0
Output file: 00138-2087850952

I’ve also noticed that the SD in my longer hair recognizes a woman and is trying very hard to add boobs to me xD Coloring the character’s eyelids and eyebrows a sable color is apparently considered feminine. Oh well.

3. Repeat the redraws until all the errors in the fur tufts are eliminated. This time, I’m redrawing again with a different seed and the same prompt, but with denoising set to 0.6. Finally, everything has smoothed out nicely. The details are just as they should be.

The AI model even added a mole for me. In real life, I can’t stand moles, but in the artwork, it looks awesome! It’s staying. 🤣

It’s a bit of a hassle. First, I lowered the resolution to scale: 0.5 in img2img, but the image will get bigger again later.

1st pass:
" Model: furryLineartXl_v30
Sampler: Euler
Schedule type: Karras
CFG scale: 4.5
Resize scale: 1.0
Denoising: 0.5
Output file: 00139-2711856520

The only thing that changed between passes was the denoising and seed.

2nd pass:
" Model: furryLineartXl_v30
Sampler: Euler
Schedule type: Karras
CFG scale: 4.5
Resize scale: 1.0
Denoising: 0.6
Output file: 00142-3559622195
