For years, I haven't been happy with my art style. Similarly to my character designs, I've wanted to make a few changes. So I doodled this to help me figure how what my new direction will be.
First off, I'm changing how the eyes look. I want them to look bigger and cartoonier, similarly to a couple of my favorite belly artists: Hookaloof, Jayme, and a couple of others. The big eyes help make my characters look more and fun and expressive.
Also, I plan on changing how I draw big bellies. I'm trying to go for a rounder, fatter, cartoonier, and more stylized look. This is why Saki's belly looks so large, and why her sides look so puffy.
I'm gonna go draw some more practice doodles showcasing how I want to draw my art now. And on another note, I want to focus on more art that showcases my girls' personalities, lore, and other aspects of their life other than belly-expansion scenes.
