I guess you could say that. I was on that website all the time back in the mid 90s. As far as I knew back then it was pretty much the only place for decent Sonic fan art. I don't think E.G. was a contributor to the site, just friends with many of the artists so she popped up in a lot of art. But I remember a lot of the artists I frequently checked. Like Rina Cat, Chi (later Sasha), Spice Thyme, Lisa M. Echidna, T2, and some raccoon guy who could go Super Saiyan for some reason. And of course the white fox Artimus Prower, couldn't draw to save his life but was the lynchpin of the the whole setup. But that website was the foundation of my understanding for "Original Character (do not steal)" and was part of what made me start writing fanfics myself.
