Since starting the comic in 2014, I never properly imagined that it could continue to grow as big as it has in the direction it did. Even when I ended issue 7 saying that things would be different going forward, I didn't even fully grasp what would happen.
Sitting here, having finished Only Human after a years-long hiatus and with my comic mojo back in full swing, I've decided that the drastic change in aura deserves a change in how the comic is portrayed. What does that mean? Well...
Only Human is a fantastic jumping-on point because it doesn't require much knowledge of the first seven issues to be enjoyed. Additionally, this issue - and several upcoming - sort of...venture away from the in-universe Goldenrod Battle Academy.
That said, GBA #8 is now the first issue of GBA volume 2, Into the Frozen Forest. ItFF will continue on until the time comes for another shift in focus and the start of a new volume.
In a more literal sense, all that's changing is that I'll be going back and retroactively updating the titles for each page. I'm also going to update a couple pages to account for Rho's new appearance. Other than that, you don't need to expect any big changes to the story. (That said, these updates will take a while because I've just moved and I haven't had access to my main computer for over two weeks at this point. I'm operating on a craptop that barely functions.)
