Cartoon Splash came to me yesterday with a species described as a "race of uncanny quadruped eldritch beings, they are usually based on clowns and a wide grin on their face and either tendrils or mane for hair", then he asked for a custom design character. And I must say, I loved it! (So much in fact I finished it within the same day).

So, I used spikes frequently seen in dinosaurs. The back ones are to protect the spine, the tail ones are for defense and the spikes in the jaw are to protect the neck from bites. So, we have a very well protected quadruped! As for the hunting traits (besides the creepy teeth), I added two apendages sort of mantis inspired. I thought of them as knives, so it could grab you with his claws and then keep you in place easily while he eats. I based the fur un classic clown make-up with a red snout, orange hair and white paint smile, together with stars on the dark fur to simulate a night sky. Overall, a really fun design I had a marvelous time making!

This would be the first time I do a "custom character", and I am excited to make many more in the future. Character designs is one of my favorite activities, which is why I have done so many adopts in the past xD
