([This story is dedicated to Nathan. And this is his request. I hope that you enjoy.])
(Just at side note I know some character name is going to be misspelled a little bit. I apologize in advance so one of the names that I know that's going to keep misspelled Zumba I think it is spelled z u m b a but don't be shocked if you see it spells z u m a it's just the way it happens sorry that is still the same character no matter what name it be pronounced sorry in advance.)

It was a clear and starry night and Nathan and Zuma was out about walking around in a nearby wooded areas. Zuma felt like since Nathan has been a very big fan of his. That he wanted to treat him out just them two alone. Nathan was very much happy about this whole entire thing. You've been wanting to meet Zumba or one of the members from the Paw patrol for quite a while. This was a treat for him he was over thrilled.
Nathan was so happy. He talked to Zuma almost all night. Zuma listen to him carefully to everything that Nathan had to say. Zuma can't help to be over excited himself. Not many people pay attention to him. I mean his job that he does anyway is not always the most glamorous. But anyway he felt happy the time that he had to wind down and relax and enjoy his self. But then Zuma realize something he had gotten a little bit too deep in the woods. And because he forgot to bring his  paw pack. This is going to be a little bit difficult. Zum begin to look around to to see can he recognize some of the nearby land maybe getting hit on where he was. But Zuma was not the best one that was good enough at sniffing out stuff like that. He done his best to play it off like everything was okay. But Nathan soon realized that something was trouble in him so he went to ask what was going on.
“What's going on Zuma you are acting like a nervous wreck are you okay?” He asked Zuma. Zuma nod his head and gave Nathan a reassurance that everything is okay and there's nothing to worry about. Night was getting deep and they already set up tent. Nathan was excited not only do you get a chance to spend a day with one of his favorite hero. But now you get to spend the night. As I got ready to call them in for the night. Zuma nervousness begin to show up again. It's clear that Zumba is not comfortable being out of his comfort zone. And it's clear that something is traveling him but he's not saying what it is or wherever reason it is. Getting kind of concerned about his friend and his hero Nathan begin to question Zuma but Zumba kept on reassuring him that everything is okay and he's fine and there's nothing to worry about.

The night is getting more deeper into the night. You can hear the sounds of the nature. Sounds of distance howling and all kinds of creepy and strange sounds. Zumba couldn't sleep the noise was scaring him. He tried to play it cool by not trying to act like that he was totally afraid. He can see that Nathan is fast asleep. He scooped a little bit closer to him. And then knock along he was basically pretty much in the same bed roll as Nathan and underneath the cover with them. Nathan eventually woke up he can feel something tugging him. So he did. He noticed that Zuma is right up on him. He didn't let it bother him he's bigger maybe zoom is trying to keep warm or something. It was kind of chilly but not that cold.

As the night went on Zumba became more eerie and very weary. In his mind he was ready for the daylight to come and hoping they can find their way back to base. Zumba was not really feeling this he thought it would be cool but now you realize it's not the sounds of nature and pretty much being out here by yourself has gotten him unease and he really want to get out of this situation as quickly as possible.

Now is daytime after hours has passed and Zuma just now fell asleep not too long ago so he is very deep in his sleep. Nathan has awaken and his stomach is starting to growl. He go check his backpack and you realize that he did packed a couple of snacks. But he didn't really think it would be gone this long. As he got ready to open his snack. Zumba with his sharp hearing was able to hear it and woke up too regardless how deeply sleepy he was he couldn't turn down a free meal. Nathan was kind enough to share it with him. Still concerned about Zuma Nathan begin to question him once more. But every time he did Zumba managed to shut it down and told him that he was perfectly fine. Even though Nathan can see Zumba is nervous.

Didn't take long before a familiar face begin to show up. It was no other than Tracker . Zumba was over excited about seeing him. He knew that he will be able to lead them directly back to the base. So as they begin to pack their stuff up. And get ready Zuma was very happy. Nathan noticed change in zuma behavior once he seen Tracker. Anyways it didn't take them long after following him back to the base did they end up returning back to the base in one piece without any incident Zuma couldn't be more happier to be back in a familiar place then what he was that whole entire night.

(The Greatest Save)
So a emergency call came in to the base. It appears that things had gotten a little bit more worse than what it normally would have been. And with the recent weather that happened everyone was getting concerned about what was going on. As one of their own was sent out for a mission but have not returned. No other than Everst what is the one who was missing for quite some time. It's made everyone very concerned cuz it's not like her. She's pretty good at handling any kind of snow missions. But sometimes things just don't go away as it should. What about hesitation everyone without and ready to go find her. Even though most of them realize it's going to be a tough mission because none of them other than Everst is trained when it comes down to snow and ice well that is what what is assumed anyway.

Meanwhile Everst has realized that she had got herself a little bit above her head. Even though she has managed to save who she was trying to save to only get herself stuck herself inside of the snow pack. Plus with my malfunction of her pack that seems to just happen. She was kind of stuck in a very unusual position. Doing her best to try to wiggle out of these situation to only fall deeper into the hole. She realized if she was going to survive the first thing she needed to do is to find some kind of way to give out some kind distress call and hoping that someone would be able to see it. She realized barking and howling is not going to be the way. She did not want to cause nearby snow packs to begin to break apart with our barking. It is common her type can be very loud.
Meanwhile Nathan the one that she saved earlier wasn't that far away. For some particular reason he decided to come back to that very same area. He just felt like something was not right. Likely his instincts was pretty much on target. By the time he got there he realized the situation so he began to dig with his bare hands but he realized that wasn't going to work the snow was more like ice than it was snow. He look around and see where there's anything that he can use to break up the ice pack without falling into the hole itself. He can see Everst snowboard is right there. So he thought to himself maybe he can use that but then he thought if he break it then it won't be able to get back down the mountain. So he searched for other material that you can use. Likely he found something. Isn't a combination of makeshift items he managed to get something that can work as he started to dig and chump away at the ice things become a little bit unstable and the ground gave in.
Both of them fell right in deeper into the hole and now they was way deep inside of the hole.Everest was not very happy and she was expressing it to Nathan pretty much how he made a situation that would be not bad into a more worse situation. But Nathan pretty much told her that he had everything on the control. He knew how to get out of this situation. She was skeptical at first but giving him a benefit of a doubt since there was nothing else pretty much that she could do.

Meanwhile by time the others got there they managed to find a beacon that was giving the distressed call. They become worried because they didn't see her. It didn't take long before they realize what was going on and they seem the big hole that was there. It was clear something happened. As a team repairing a strategy that's when both of them pop out somewhere else of another hole. Everyone was kind of shock that they seen that .Everst and whoever her new friend was was okay. They was quite amazed when she told them how everything went down. It was such a epic story that was kind of hard to believe it. Meanwhile Marshall who was listening to everything he was hoping to be the hero. He wanted to impress her but once again his plans are spoil and this time he's not liking it. Trying his best to keep a smile on his face why at the same time showing some very hostile anger but at the same time pressing it down so no one else will be able to see it.

Next day at the base that's all everyone was talking about was a story that was told. It seemed like that Everst is making a big deal about this. She feel like that she's he is the greatest thing that she ever seen. Meanwhile Marshall is not having that. Trying to his best to hold it in but his anger is getting the best of him. And eventually you begin lunch out about it.
“Nathan Nathan Nathan that's all I've been hearing! What make him so great! Is just a regular citizen like everyone else! It just was a regular job! Just like anything that we would have done! Nathan Nathan Nathan Nathan can we start talking about him! He's not any here to defend it so!” Clearly he is very mad about the situation for some particular reason. It didn't take long with all the commotion that it brought Chase who was not that far away into the whole issue as he tried to calm down Marshall he end up taking Marshall somewhere away from everything so you can figure out why he up upset.
“Marshall you know the deal we are a team. And everyone has their part and not everyone can be a hero all the time. And it's not uncommon that sometimes we as being the ones that considered to be the heroes sometimes can be a little too late and problems would end up solving itself. It doesn't mean that anyone is weak or anything like that. It just means that sometimes the answer to the problem is not always the solution that you see in front.” He tried to offer some comfort words. Marshall looked at him and he just rolled his eyes.  “Everyone thinks I'm a joke. I do my job well I haven't had any incident. But I get laughed at almost every time. I don't understand!. But then you get this random nobody and all of a sudden everyone is excited. I don't get praise like that usually I get laughed at.” Marshall said as he began to sit down and he had his head turned away from Chase.
Chase looked at him.”I don't get it. You always is a little goofball sometimes no defense. You always bring joy to the group. I enjoy the Way You are. But I got a feeling that this is and have nothing to do with the group. And more to do with what just happened. This is not the first time that you start to show this kind of behavior. Look I get it she's cute. And I know you're not the only one who have interest in her. But your behavior is not going to win her over it's just going to make her more likely to hate you. You know how she is. She can get a little overzealous sometimes. But trust me she still see you the same way as she always seen you. As a very close friend. You want to remain like that and not get on her bad side right.”
Marshall agreed he realized being jealous is not going to work. Marshall took a deep breath and and a vowed to not to be jealous anymore and to allow others to like Everst even if it hurts. Chase smiled and together they walk back into the room where she was after everything was explained. They all had a good chuckle and the day in.
