Section 1: Arrival on Zebes
Team Lilac emerged from the portal onto a desolate, alien world. Jagged cliffs surrounded them, glowing pools of molten lava bubbled in the distance, and the sky was an ominous orange-red. The air was thick and oppressive, and strange insect-like creatures scuttled across the rocky terrain.
“This place looks worse than Mystic Cave Zone,” Carol muttered, brushing off a splatter of ash. “Where are we now?”
“This is Zebes,” Lilac said, consulting Torque’s device. “It’s from Metroid. The shard is here somewhere.”
Milla clung to her Togekiss, her ears twitching nervously. “This place feels scary.”
Neera’s tone was sharp but steady. “Focus. This world is hostile, and we need to move quickly.”
As they navigated the treacherous terrain, avoiding lava pits and aggressive wildlife, a shadow passed overhead. A figure clad in a sleek, orange-and-red power suit landed gracefully on the rocky surface in front of them, her visor gleaming in the dim light.
“Who are you?” Neera asked, raising her staff cautiously.
The figure raised her arm cannon slightly but didn’t fire. “Samus Aran,” she replied, her voice calm and authoritative. “This planet is dangerous. You shouldn’t be here.”
“We’re on a mission to collect shards to save our world,” Lilac explained, stepping forward. “There’s a shard here, and we need it.”
Samus studied them for a moment before lowering her weapon. “The shard you’re looking for is deep within the ruins. But you’ll need help getting there—this planet doesn’t forgive mistakes.”
Carol smirked. “Good thing we’ve got you, then.”

Section 2: Miyu’s Throne
Far above Avalice, aboard Starfall Station, Miyu sat on her throne, the Kingdom Stone glowing faintly at the heart of her command center. The massive space fortress orbited Avalice, its ominous presence casting a long shadow over the planet below.
Her generals stood before her, their postures rigid. “Supreme Commander, all systems are operational. Our forces are ready.”
Miyu leaned back, her claws tapping on the armrests of her throne. “Team Lilac has the shards, but they still don’t know what’s waiting for them. Let them return to Avalice—they’ll find only despair.”
One of her advisors hesitated. “Do you think they suspect what has happened on the planet?”
Miyu’s smirk widened. “They’re so focused on their quest, they’ve left Avalice defenseless. By the time they realize their mistake, it will be too late.”
She turned her gaze toward the Kingdom Stone, its crystalline surface pulsating with energy. “Avalice belongs to me now. Let them try to take it back.”

Section 3: The Shard’s Guardian
Deep within Zebes, Samus guided Team Lilac through a labyrinthine network of tunnels. The oppressive heat and constant danger forced the group to stay alert as they avoided acid pools, collapsing platforms, and alien creatures.
“This place is a nightmare,” Carol grumbled, wiping sweat from her forehead. “How do you deal with this all the time?”
Samus didn’t look back as she replied, “You adapt. Or you don’t survive.”
Torque’s device beeped loudly, the signal growing stronger. The group entered a massive chamber where the final shard hovered above a pedestal, its light casting eerie shadows across the walls. Guarding it was a biomechanical Ridley, its glowing eyes fixed on the intruders.
“That’s Ridley!” Samus shouted, raising her arm cannon. “Get ready—this won’t be easy!”
The battle was chaotic. Ridley swooped through the air, unleashing torrents of fire and powerful tail strikes. Samus coordinated with the team, using her missiles to target Ridley’s wings while Lilac and Carol focused on dodging and counterattacking. Neera used her frost magic to slow Ridley’s movements, creating openings for Milla and her Togekiss to support with defensive moves.
“It’s guarding the shard with everything it’s got!” Lilac shouted, narrowly dodging a fiery blast.
“We need to weaken it first!” Samus replied, firing a charged shot that struck Ridley’s chest.
After a grueling fight, Lilac launched a Dragon Boost that dislodged the shard from Ridley’s chest. The biomechanical beast let out a final, furious roar before collapsing in a heap of smoldering metal.
Milla carefully retrieved the shard. “We’ve got it! That’s the last one!”
Torque’s device absorbed the shard’s energy, stabilizing the area and causing the oppressive atmosphere to lift slightly.

Section 4: A Parting Ally
As the group prepared to leave, Samus approached them. “You’re strong, but whatever you’re up against is bigger than you think. Stay focused.”
“Thanks for your help,” Lilac said, nodding. “We couldn’t have done this without you.”
Samus nodded once, her visor reflecting the faint light of the shard. “Good luck. You’ll need it.”
As the team stepped through the portal, Torque’s device hummed with renewed energy, signaling the final phase of their mission. But despite their progress, an unshakable feeling of unease settled over them.

Section 5: Shadows Over Avalice
Back aboard Starfall Station, Miyu’s gaze remained fixed on Avalice. Reports of Team Lilac’s progress reached her, but she showed no sign of concern.
“Let them gather their shards,” she said, her voice calm and confident. “They’ll return to Avalice, only to find a world already under my control.”
Her forces continued their preparations, arming the station’s advanced weaponry and reinforcing its defenses. As the Kingdom Stone pulsed with power, Starfall Station stood as a testament to Miyu’s dominance and the final battlefield for Avalice’s fate.
