Wallace and his friends consciously goes through the city. He meets with a fox named Kai.
“Hey. I haven’t seen you since high school, how you doing? do you still remember me?, are you still a friend of mine?”
Kai's eyes widened in recognition, a faint smile playing on his lips as he nodded. "Of course, Wallace. It's been some time, but I haven't forgotten our friendship. How have you been?"
Wallace chuckled, "I've been doing alright. Just trying to make sense of the world around me. How about you?
"Well, I'm doing pretty good," Kai replied, his eyes scanning the surroundings with a cautious air. "I'm still trying to find my place in this world, you know? It's not as easy as it used to be."
Wallace nodded, empathizing with his friend's struggles. "I understand. Life is harder when you brake the indoctrination. I know you’re the only one to not betray me when it came out, I’m a rabbit. I know you wanted to mate with me but I wasn’t into you like that. I’m sorry.”
Kai shook his head, smiling warmly at the memory. "No need to apologize, Wallace. We were young and naive back then, and our desires didn't define our friendship. Besides, I'm sure you've found someone special by now, right?"
Wallace smiled, a small hint of sadness lingering in his eyes. "Not yet, found some friends, we got to deliver medicine but I’ve been selfishly wanting to make amends before I continue.”
Kai nodded, understanding the weight of Wallace's words. "I see. Well, whatever you need from me, just let me know. We're still friends, after all."
Wallace sighed, a deep sense of melancholy washing over him. "Thank you, Kai. I appreciate that."
The two friends stood there for a moment, lost in their thoughts, before Kai finally broke the silence.
"So, what brings you back to this part of town? Any particularly interesting stories from your adventures?"
Wallace chuckled, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "Oh, you have no idea. But I promise, I'll fill you in soon. For now, though,” Wallace opened a portal. “We got to deliver medicine and save the universe.”
As Wallace stepped through the portal, he couldn't help but feel a knot in his stomach. This was a mission unlike any other, and the stakes were higher than ever. He knew their success would determine the fate of countless lives.
Before they could embark on their journey, he turned back to Kai. "Hey, Kai, would you come along? I think you'd be great help"
Kai eyed him skeptically, but ultimately agreed. "Alright, Wallace. But don't expect me to do anything heroic."
Together, they stepped through the portal, into a bustling city unlike any other.
The Elven prince greeted the heroes. “There are more of you this time.” “I trust you got my fathers medicine?”
Wallace and group stood before the Elven prince, a sense of determination burning in their eyes. Wallace nodded solemnly, his voice steady as he replied, “Yes, we have the medicine your father needs to heal. We will do whatever it takes to ensure his recovery.”
The Elven prince's expression softened with relief as he accepted the medicine from Wallace. “Thank you. Your bravery and sacrifice will not be forgotten in the kingdom of the elves. You have proven yourselves to be true heroes.”
The elven prince gave Kelvin a box, “This is the real mystic key. I didn’t know if you could be trusted so I gifted you a forgery, I hope you understand.”
Kelvin accepted the box from the Elven prince, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and trepidation. As he opened it, a brilliant light burst forth, illuminating the chamber and revealing the true mystic key within. The intricate design and pulsating energy of the key left Kelvin in awe, knowing that its power could unlock secrets beyond imagination.
With a sense of gratitude, Kelvin bowed deeply to the Elven prince. "Thank you for your trust and this incredible gift. We will use this key wisely and with honor."
The prince nodded graciously, his eyes reflecting a deep respect for the heroes before him. "May the key guide you on your journey and lead you to victory. The fate of our kingdoms rests in your hands."
As the group prepared to depart, Wallace turned to Kai, a determined glint in his eyes. "Are you ready for this adventure, my friend? The challenges ahead will test us like never before, but I believe in our strength and unity.
“As you can see I can make portal, I’m also clairvoyant, but I’m still weak though.”
Kai gazed at Wallace with newfound admiration. “I didn’t befriend you because I thought you could move a mountain.”
"I befriended you because of your kind heart and unwavering loyalty," Kai continued, placing a reassuring hand on Wallace's shoulder. "Your abilities are just a bonus, my friend. We will face whatever challenges come our way together, as true companions." Wallace smiled “These are my friends, Demi, Kit, Kelvin, Fiona, Mat, and Mica.”
With a renewed sense of camaraderie and purpose, Wallace, Kai, and the group embarked on their journey through the portal. As they emerged in a landscape unlike any they had seen before. A ferret and others were camping by the road. The ferret walks up to Wallace and the others, “You can forget about going any further.” He points to where the town is but it’s surrounded by land that is cursed and filled with darkness.
Wallace scanned the darkened lands, his stomach churning at the sight. "Well," he began, his voice low and determined, "it seems our quest has taken a dangerous turn."
Kit looked around and noticed a tree, visible in the distance.
"Hey, what's that tree over there?" asked Kit, pointing towards the distant silhouette.
Wallace squinted, trying to make out the details in the dim light. "It looks like it could be our only hope," he said, a glimmer of hope in his voice. "We'll have to find a way to cross this cursed land and reach that tree. It must hold the key to breaking the curse."
The ferret heard them say that and pointed to a cat it’s stone like appearance.
Kai raised an eyebrow, glancing at the cat with curiosity. "A cat, you say? What's so special about it?"
The ferret responded with a concerned look. “The cat walked onto the land and turned to stone, it never moves from that spot.”
The group exchanged worried glances, understanding the gravity of the situation.
"We have to find a way to break the curse," Kelvin said, his voice shaking slightly with fear.
"Alright, let's regroup and come up with a plan," Wallace decided, his resolve hardening.
They huddled together, discussing possible ways to cross the cursed land and reach the tree.
Kit moved with a plan. “Mica ready your bow.” “Demi enchant an arrow with your one of a kind recovery spell.” “Mica shoot the tree with the arrow.”
Mica nodded, his fingers steady as he nocked the arrow. The arrow itself glowed with a faint, ethereal light. After shooting the arrow, the arrow went five feet through the air before sinking like a lead weight turning to stone on the ground.
The group stared in shock as the arrow turned to stone, mirroring the fate of the cat. They realized that the curse was more powerful than they had anticipated.
Wallace clenched his fists, his mind racing as he tried to come up with a new plan. "We need to think outside the box. There must be a way to break this curse and reach the tree."
Kit asked “Could you make a portal to the tree and Mica could try hitting the tree through the portal?”
As the team considered Kit's suggestion, Wallace's eyes lit up with inspiration. "It could work. Kai, can you create a barrier of sorts to protect Mica while he fires the arrow?"
Kai nodded, his faces reflecting the seriousness of the situation.
Wallace opened a portal, just large enough for Mica to step through and aim his arrow. Demi enchanted the arrow with a powerful blast of energy, which made it glow even brighter.
Mica stepped through the portal, aimed the arrow at the tree, and released it. The arrow flew straight and true, piercing the tree with a deafening sound as it hit its mark.
As soon as the arrow made contact with the tree, a surge of energy erupted from the tree, breaking the curse that had befallen the land. The once cursed earth began to vibrate, slowly returning to its original state.
The group watched in awe as the curse dissipated and the land was restored to its natural beauty, free from darkness and despair.
The ferret stepped forward “I can… Go home… Now?”
Wallace nodded, a sense of relief washing over him. "Yes, thank you for your help. We are grateful for everything you've done."
The ferret gave a nod of gratitude before scurrying off towards home.
As the group stood in the now restored land, they couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. They had overcome a challenge that seemed insurmountable, and their bond as friends had only grown stronger.
"Well, my friends," Wallace began, his voice filled with pride, "we did it. We broke the curse and saved this land. I couldn't have done it without each and every one of you."
The others exchanged smiles and pats on the back, their spirits lifted by the success of their mission.
They set off once more, knowing that their journey was far from over, but with the knowledge that they had the strength, unity, and friendship to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
