Amy's not usually the pensive type, but like everyone, she has her moments!

(Marvin E. Fuller) back in '07 or thereabouts, back when she and CyberCorn were on the Gene Catlow comics forum...well, they still are, as I post there as "AmyStereo", in character, every so often. It was also there I began my leptictidium crusade. ;)

First NEW pic since joining Inkbunny- Yay! :)

I look at this and think it's pretty good considering my skill level at the time.  Of course, I can do better now and might one day actually prove it. :p

You also forgot the constructive critiquing on the things that need tweaking about her body. ;)  (For the record, the whiskers only showing on the far side of the face was a stylistic experiment that didn't really pan out.)

Actually, other than the whiskers (which she does have), I really don't see too much to critique- Yes, the eyes are more human-like than I prefer (hers are mouselike, albeit yellow-green), but I'm so used to it, since many don't seem to know how to draw mouselike eyes. :) Body type is closer to how I described her back then (I do need to write a 2.0 of her desc, honestly!), and other than her expression (as I've mentioned, not common for her, but like everyone, there are those times, so it isn't completely OOC), I really don't see that many problems. :)

Or, as she often just says, she's just a mouse. :)

Thanks. :)

Personally, it was the legs that bothered me the most.  Something about them just seemed off to me, although I can't pinpoint exactly what it is.  Fortunately, I have improved since then, so I can now hypothetically make them look wonky in new ways. :p

What do you mean with more mouse-like eyes?  Would they be all black (were she a normal mouse; all yellow-green for her now)?  Or would each be a large pupil with the rest of the eye being yellow-green (no whites, in other words)?

First the eyes, yes-- All yellow-green, just like albino mice who have all-red marble-like eyes. (Can't say "solid", as it's more along the same nature as clear coloured marbles, with similar reflectivity-- Which means from a distance, it would look like her eyes are glowing yellow-green, but not the same way as cats' and raccons' eyes.) I based Amy's eyes on both real mice I kept as pets- Some albino or near-albino- and uranium-glass marbles, which I own as well. (They're easy to get, sometimes cheaply, if you search right. :) )

As for the legs, I simply hadn't noticed, and THAT'S a good thing- If I noticed any wonkiness, I'd say, and it's still not wonky enough for me to complain, so you're safe... But if you'd like to take a new shot at drawing Amy, go for it! :D Not that I'd complain about a new Amy pic, or anything... :)
