Back in the den, the virus had progressed majorly in the time Elly was gone, mostly in me, though. However, I've gotten a blanket and covered myself mostly, to protect Rose from seeing me. If I die, I didn't want my daughter to see me in such a horrible stare. My fur is almost completely out, my temperature has dropped, I'm showing all the symptoms Gabriella is showing, though the virus is already in my brain, effecting my thoughts and actions. Rose, however, is still in the early stages, just weakened, sick, sore throat. At worst, it would progress to a bad flu if left to run full course in her.

At that moment, Elly rushes into the den. She pulls the blanket off of me and prepares to inject my arm with the vaccine. Rose yelps in surprise, not expecting that.

With my eyes closed, I can't see, and I have no idea what is going on. I speak, my voice very bad and cracking. "W-wha?..." Elly feels my temperature, colder than normal. My pulse is weak, and my arms basically limp, shivering. My bones have become weak even, like a hard rubber.

"I-I hope I'm not too late..." Elly hopes, then injects the vaccine carefully in to my arm.

Since my nerves are no longer sensing, I don't feel anything else than an even, intense pain throughout my whole body. I'm unaware I was just saved. "N-no... J-ust... Dying... hehe..."

She kisses my cheek, crying slightly. "Rest... Y-you're gonna be ok now... I-I need to go for a while though... R-rose... you-re next..." she runs into the bathroom to wash off the needle.

With what little functioning mind I can access, I try to ask for one final request. "... B-bring me to earth... I-I want to be on my home world... W-when I go..."

Elly runs back in and injects Rose with the vaccine. Rose whimpers in pain at the needle. "G-gabriel don't talk like that... y-you're not gonna die.. I-i gave you the cure!" She removes the needle from Rose's arm.

I can't really process that fully. "... B-but... If I die here... J-Jesus won't make up m-my dying bed..." With the virus having already gotten to my brain, I can't filter my thoughts fully.

Elly, since I never did explain my world's history, doesn't know who Jesus is, so she doesn't understand. "Gabriel... what are you talking about? Y-you're not gonna die..."

I give up on trying to think of anything anymore. Weakly I say "I-I'm tired..."

"T-then rest..." She can finally relax now that I'm not going to die. "You're gonna be ok now..." Although, at that moment, Elly remembers Gabriella, and realizes she still needs to get the vaccine to her, just in case. "Be back soon, Gabriel.. I need to cure Gabriella too..." She kisses my cheek and walks out the den.

At that point, I just completely pass out. I'm alive, just so very barely, a lot of my organs severely damaged, but in a condition so I'll be alive until more treatment comes. Rose snuggles closely to me, tired and worried.

------------------------------------------------------------

From the research center, Click has called Gabriella's device by now, alerting the fact that Elly has the vaccine to cure him and Gabriella. Back at Brads house, he quickly hears the device going off in his hand. He quickly stands up beside the couch and looks down at it. A voice message from Click plays, again in poor Engish. "Cure be found. Possesion is in a dragon Elly. Go for to get it from her."

His eyes grow wide as he hears those words. He looks back at Gabriella, hope in his eyes. "They found a cure... They found a cure, Gabriella!"

His voice hurts her head, but she doesn't care about the pain, hearing his words. "G-good..." She speaks weakly, losing senses more and more. "G-go... Get it, please..." She closes her eyes.

Brad, still wearing most of his body armor, quickly walks over to the table and snaps his helmet back on. "They say Elly has it, so I know where to find it... I'm going to get it and be back as soon as I can for you..."

"O-okay..." She sighs, and passes out from the pain.

He picks up his Colt .45 handgun and sets it in his holster. "Elly always has given me trouble... Best arm myself just in case." He quickly runs out the door and starts to run in the direction of my home, the portal being located behind it.

Elly has already passes through the portal, and is now wandering in the forest near it, completely unaware of where to go. After a few minutes of running faster than he ever had before, he manages to make it to my home. He stops himself for a second. "Alright, almost there..."

He quickly runs behind the house and into the forest, heading for the portal. Elly is soon in view. She sees Brad and runs toward him. "Brad! Where's Gabriella? I have the antidote!"

He's excited to hear the news. "You have it?? Give it to me, Elly!"

"You don't know how to use it! Lead me to Gabriella so I can give her it!"

He quickly gets impatient. "I know how to inject a cure, Elly! Hand the damn thing over, I don't have time to argue with you about this!"

"Brad, it's a weird alien needle! I don't have time to waste! take me to Gabriella!" She is as worried as Brad, since our life force is shared.

He is impatient, panicking almost. "Elly, I've used alien technology in the past, surprise surprise. I think I'll figure out how to work a needle!"

She starts to get impatient with him, starting to yell as well. "Brad, every second we argue Gabriella gets worse and I spend a moment away from Gabriel! You think he's in any better condition? LETS GO!!!!"

"Yeah, I'm aware! Just give me the damn cure and we can head to my place! I don't trust you holding onto it!"

Elly glares at him angrily. "LEAD ME TO HER ALREADY!!!"

"Not until you hand it over. I'm not telling you again..." He's getting much more irritated with her.

She gives in, realizing that fighting is getting them nowhere. "FINE!!!" She hands it to him. "But I get to inject it!"

He sets the small medical device in a small canister he has. "If anyone is injecting it into her, it will be me. You can tell me how to do so properly though. Now, lets move!"

"Yes! Go!"

"Try not to fall behind." He turns around and begins to run back towards my house, Elly following quickly behind.

He stops for a moment after he reaches my house again. "Come on, this way! Move it!" He turns to his left and starts running down the street. Elly flies behind Brad. After a few more minutes of running, he eventually manages to reach his house. He stops in front of it and looks up towards Elly. "Alright, here we are! Keep moving!"  He runs up to the front door of his house and suddenly kicks it wide open, breaking the lock with just one well placed kick.

Elly flies in, keeping up closely. Inside, Gabriella is getting closer to death. She's showing very little signs of life, but she's still alive.

He makes his way over to Gabriella quickly and pulls the vaccine out from the canister. "Alright, Elly, tell me how to inject this properly!"

She quickly explains. "Push the needle in and push the button! Make sure to wash the needle first!"

"That's it? Oh for the love of... That's how you always use these things!" He gets up and quickly runs to the kitchen. Click, when explaining the needle's design to Elly, assumed Earth's own medicines were more promitive than they are as of current. "Keep an eye on Gabriella for me!"

"A-Alright..." She kneels by Gabriella. "Gabriella... Hold on there for a few more minutes... We've got the cure..." She is very cold, pale, and breathing slowly. Her skin is actually starting to corrode in small places, causing her to bleed randomly. She sees this and whimpers, afraid for her. "Hang on there Gabriella..."

He quickly runs to the kitchen sink and washes the needle thoroughly under the water of it, cleaning it off. Once he's done, he quickly runs back to the couch, not even bothering to turn the sink off. "Alright, it's good!"

"Quickly! Inject her!"

Brad kneels down next to her, preparing the needle. "I'll inject it into the artery of her arm. The cure will spread faster that way..." Despite the intense situation, he slowly stabs the needle into the artery of her arm, injecting the cure into her by pressing down on the button.

Suddenly she realizes she forgot to account for Dark Gabriel's health as well. "Don't we need to find and cure Dark Gabriel too? If he has it and dies, Gabriel will die to..."

Once he's finished injecting the cure into Gabriella, he pulls the needle out and sighs. "Gabriella will die as well... We have to also give him the cure."

A shadow drifts in from under the front door, though Elly doesn't notice. She growls, not liking the idea of having to save him. "I hate needing to cure that bastard..."

"We have to. And I have a feeling we don't need to go far to find him..." He looks at the shadow. "You have a lot of nerve coming back here, Dark Gabriel."

Elly growls, sniffing the air to try and sense where Dark Gabriel is. The shadow, being Dark Gabriel, slides right behind Elly, having been doscovered. As he passes, he uses his abilities to give Elly a slight layer of ice on her tail. He then forms himself behind Elly, surprised that Brad spotted him so quickly.

"Am I that obvious? He coughs, only in the early stages of the disease.

With Elly's sensitivity to the cold, she immediately reacts. "A-aaah!!!! C-cold!!!!"

"I was trained since I was five to be the perfect soldier that a human could be. Your sense get stronger after training so long."

"C-COLDICEOWOWOWOWOWOWTAILWOWOWOWOW!!!" Despite the severity of the situation, she can't help it. Ice to her is fire to us.

"Ah..." He nods. "Sounds reasonable... Anyway, you better give me that vaccine." He coughs again.

"D-DAMNYOUDGICECOLDCOLDOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOTAILOWWW!!!"

Brad shrugs. "Sure, here you go." He hands him the cure. "And calm down, Elly. You'll live."

He is completely caught off guard by Brad's ready willingness to help him. "Why are you giving me the cure so easily?"

He answers simply "You die, Gabriel and Gabriella die. I want to avoid them dying again for a while."

Elly stops running in circles, she breathes some fire onto her tail to melt the ice, whimpering in pain. Dark Gabriel is a bit surprised at Brad's knowledge of that, for some reason. Wow. I was prepared to fight you for it." He licks the needle, tasting the blood on it and also cleaning it. He then injects himself with it.

Elly growls, quite angry. "If killing you wouldn't kill Gabriel I would s-soooo burn you to ashes right now DG!!!"

"Well, lucky me." He speaks with obvious sarcasm. "I don't have to deal with the scary dragon." In his normal tone, he adds "I'm gone." He just stands there for a second, as if waiting for something to happen. Elly growls, and grumbles something to herself.

"No need to do that, Elly." At that moment, he suddenly pulls out a hidden pair of handcuffs. Before DG can react, he quickly slaps them onto both of his wrists. "He's not going anywhere..."

As if he isn't trapped, he smiles, amused. "Hehe... That's not going to work." He tries to fade in to the darkness, but realizes he can't. "... Well, s***... The virus drained my abilities... I just had to mess with her..." He curses himself for wasting energy on freezing Elly's tail.

Elly is now amused. "Hah... you derseve it!"

Brad glares at DG. "I've been wanting to say this for so long... Dark Gabriel, you're under arrest for all the crimes you've committed." He's commited so many, if he were to live to the age of 1000, he'd never see the end of punishment.

Elly grins. "I should look for a spell to seal him back inside Gabriel..." True, that Dark Gabriel came from me, and can be sealed back within me using magic.

"Do you know any spells to immobilize someone, Elly?"

"I could make all his limbs go numb easily..."

"Can you do that right now? I want to reduce his ability to go anywhere."

"Maybe..." She pulls out her spellbook from the thin air.

Dark Gabriel quickly looks for a weak point. He sees Brad's unprotected face. "Too late!" He suddenly smashes his forehead in to Brad's face, and makes a dash for the door.

Elly is surprised by the sudden move, as is Brad. "And where do you think you're going?! Del aura vein nel!" The spell causes DG's limbs to grow numb and heavy, difficult to move or control."

Brad stumbles back in pain from the impact. But he manages to recover in a split second and glares at DG. "Don't do that again. It actually hurt a little you know." Meanwhile, Dark Gabriel falls forward, his head hitting a piece of hard furniture hard, knocking him unconsious Brad sghs and looks at him. "What an idiot."

Elly giggles, amused. "He deserved that... I hope there's a spell I can use to seal him back into Gabriel... That would solve so many problems..."

"If only it were so simple. You can look, but I doubt it's there." If there's enough magic to bring Gabriella and Dark Gabriel from me, there would be a spell to seal Dark Gabriel back within me.

Now that th worst has been avoided, Elly remembers me. "I should go check on Gabriel.... you take care of DG please..."

"Don't worry. He isn't going anywhere for a while. But can you do me a favor?"

"Yes?" Elly asks.

"When Gabriel wakes up, tell him I caught his dark side and that I'm turning him into the Alliance. He'll want to know."

"Ok. And tell the Alliance Gabriel's mate Elly might have a way to get rid of Dark Gabriel without harming Gabriel."

"I'll be sure to tell them. And Elly, thanks for getting the cure here..." He actually smiles at her slightly.

Elly smiles as well. "Anytime..." She grins as well. "Don't think this means I'm gonna go easy on you next time we compete or whatnot..."

Brad slowly grins as well. "Try as hard as you like. You wont ever beat me at a competition!"

"Debatable... tata~" She walks out the destroyed door.

"We'll see... We will see, Elly. Anyway, I should contact the Alliance and let them know about Dark Gabriel." He walks over and picks up Gabriella's device again. "I just hope I can get this right..."
