Bonus points if you can name where that quote was taken from.

Once in a while I do draw non-porn. It's not often, but I do lol

Aislinn sort of exists in two separate timelines. One where she lives a normal life with her dad and goes to school, and another where her life is ripped apart and she becomes lost in a Silent Hill-Like limbo. This picture is the latter!

This is sort of a re-imagining of another traditionally drawn picture of mine, which I uploaded with this one, since I sort of like that one too. Formatting so I can use as a desktop.

Also, full disclosure: the background is Ai generated. I asked a friend to get me a post-apocalyptic city one. I found out recently in my curiosity to try it, that my laptop isn't even able to RUN things like Stable Diffusion. So he was nice enough to generate me something I could use because I wasn't about to spent days making a bunch of buildings. Sorry lol

I like it. The background has a sort of “distant” feel, like a sky box in a old game to where no matter how close you get to it. It never looks closer. You know?

That's actually really cool to hear about it, and describes her situation quite well :D

Ooh, a nice little blast from the past. The older picture of Aislinn huddled up on the windowsill has always been a favorite of mine. It captures the atmosphere of that twisted other world so well, and her expression as she peeks out past her knees is very powerful, I think. It's nice to see some of the same themes being revisited in the newer picture as well. Maybe it's just the difference in pose and general attitude, but she looks somewhat more mature, or at least more seasoned, in the newer picture, too. Kind of like, she still hates the place and would rather be anywhere else, but she's gotten used to its nonsense. And that's probably me just projecting hard on this, so I apologize. But whatever the reasons behind it, it's interesting to see what a difference the best part of a decade makes not only to your art but to Aislinn herself.

I think the generated city actually works nicely for the new piece, too. AI art very often seems to have a sort of blurry, smudged look to it, particularly with inorganic things like buildings. But with the fog and the general creepy otherworldliness of the place, that works to its advantage I think. It just looks like the kind of place you're not supposed to be in.

Anyway. Sorry for the super long ramble on this, but the new piece does look great, and it's nice to see some of your older work again, too!

Your comment really does say a lot of what I was going for!  I felt I wanted to draw a more mature and hardened Aislinn, one who has spent so much time in this realm that she just doesn't care anymore.
