Character Description
Personality
She's generally a valley girl stereotype, with a little extra kindness and serenity.
Likes/Dislikes
She likes to listen to chill music, cuddle with friends and loved ones, prance about, help out and read (even though her literacy could be considered a work in progress). She also enjoys spicy foods.
As for the things she dislikes, she is not fond of beer (she was subjected to a rather gross prank a few times before learning from it) and she tends to be a little sensitive to others being hurt, which drives her to want to help.
Background/History
Summer doesn't really remember much of the details of her history (the absent brain does not help matters there), but she used to belong to a proud pair of kirin parents who raied her to be a bit of a genius. Unfortunately, something happened to change that.
According to a medical hypothesis, she took some manner of fatal injury that destroyed her brain, but some manner of magical ley line kept her alive. Through an unconventional surgery, the brain itself had to be removed in order to keep any forming necrosis from spreading to the rest of her and her skull was patched up. Still, the despair of her parents from that point lead to rather drastic action.
Summer was taken out to a local park by her parents, and then abandoned there until she found a local teacher to had adopted her and tried to help her with her intellectual disability. Said teach is now regarded as Summer's true mother as she's the one she actually remembers.

Orange fur, cyan mane and scales.

As a quadruped, she doesn't normally wear clothes.
