Prologue
" Ah! Hello dear reader. I see you have stumbled upon my library. I want to ask how you managed to stumble upon this realm, but since you are here why don't I regale you a tale of some of my favorite stories that I have created. You see I take great care in sculpting every character, every event, every word uttered. You could say to these characters I am their God."
Though there is little entertainment to be had if I know exactly everything that will happen to these characters of mine. So I thought of a brilliant idea! I shall cast them to another plane of existence. Another realm for which I can watch my characters interact. See what they do, see how they live, have them right their own story. Yes! This shall be entertaining to watch but which characters…." Ah! Perhaps the four recent addition to my collection. For aspiring heroes, ready to take on any challenge the world might throw at them. Yes I believe they will be perfect! But before I get ahead of myself perhaps you might want to know which heroes I am referring to. Well my curious little friend follow me to my chambers and I will regale you with their tales.
End prologue.
(Hi guys^^ I hope I made the author mysterious enough. He will be important later but I wanted to introduce him now and explain how he created the four characters I'll be using. This is going to be an interesting crossover. Something that I want to attend to see how well it works. Doing a Care Bear/D&D crossover. I want to try and follow the lore as much as possible. So anyone that plays D&D can somewhat follow how some of the abilities work. I'll give a brief explanation. All my characters are going to be level 10. So Chipper, who is a druid and follows the circle of the land. Can you spells up to level five. So it's not going to be perfect I will try to make it as realistic to the 5th edition of D&D as possible. So for example cantrips can be used whenever without preparing spells or long or short resting.
Spells that actually have casting times are going to be the literal casting time. For example chipper knows the level 5 spell awakened which takes 8 hours to cast to make something with zero intelligence or inanimate like plants to gain sentience.
He can then do it one more time right after since he's allowed 2 level 5 slots.
I promise I'll make this simpler and make it make more sense in the story. A lot of it will be bogged down but I'm still going to try to follow the rules of spells at least and the classes that I give my characters.
So don't worry if you have never played D&D before I'll simplify it.
This is an experiment I've been wanting to try for a while so it'll be a learning experience for me. I hope you all give me your feedback and suggestions I would really appreciate it and thank you for taking the time to read this crazy story^^)
