Jojo and I were discussing the idea of Jei and Kei meeting their younger selves, and reminiscing on their more innocent days. Eventually this pic was drawn up to showcase just how each boy reacts to this experience, both child and adult.
Young Kei is rightfully concerned about what happens to him that costs him both an arm and a leg. The obvious jokes aside, it is truly a shocking experience for the young fox to come to terms with.
Adult Kei is standing there, obviously worried he's shocking his younger self, but ready to answer questions once he's ready.
Young Jei, on the other "hand", was a much more energetic kid compared to his adult version. Jei's was born armless, so in his younger years his spent most of his time without shoes as this helped him interact with the world around him. His disability aside though, he still has bountiful energy and more than happy to hug and play with anyone.
Adult Jei is less than pleased though, as he found his younger self to be a touch...annoying. Not in a rude way though; it's just a matter of Jei doesn't handle kids and their infinite amount of energy all too well.
Overall, its a great piece showcasing now only the personality differences of both boys, but how they were as kids as well. Kei's disability is much more recent, so seeing him with all his limbs was a fun treat.
