Whew! I put more effort into this than any other single track I've made. All fourteen songs on the Discovery album get honored. Or desecrated, if you prefer.

Some were easy to find matches for, others were EEEYAAAHHH. Some were easy to edit, others were like tying to reconstruct a Steven King novel that went through a paper shredder.

All told, it was fun. I think it sounds pretty fun too.

I'd go with desecrated. But it's a good speedrun, and a lot of unexpected mashups. They don't go on long enough to overstay the "old favorites" factor. Some of the songs remind me that they could have been better if they weren't as long as they were- Voyager, this means you. It's a mashup that may have multiple listens because, with radio and cd, we're all used to just waiting for 2 minutes for the song to end because we've heard it or it was never that good to begin with.

I like the idea of this being a 'speedrun' of the album.

And while I don't mind the length of most of them, I did take perverse pleasure in the fact that too Long is by far the shortest cut.

Also, I will probably upload the full version of all the mashups used to make this, all in a big batch. Some aren't much longer than here. Though I think Aerodynasty and Suprisoners came out really well as standalone songs.
