As I promised in my last gunpla post, here is God Gundam (Burning Gundam in the english localization).
Now, this kit was released all the way back on 2001, making it a 20 year old model kit! However despite it's age, it's still a very rock solid and amazing master grade kit! I got to see some old mechanics that you don't see in modern MG kits, including using metal screws and rubber parts! No custom painting this time. I feel the bright yellow suits this kit over gold this time.
Speaking of the screws, I think my kit was actually in error, since not only was I missing the correct amount of screws, but some of them were even the wrong size!
(That may be why I got this one significantly cheaper.)
However I found work-around for that (super glue), and it all came together great in the end! I kinda sped through it, but I also had loads of fun, and am proud to add it to my very modest, yet growing gunpla collection!
