I'm guessing that it's the grave of a very beloved pet.  I definitely know how she feels.

Well, it took me 4.5 months to read the story behind the drawing.  (Sorry about that.)  I guess this drawing shows how any action has consequences, positive or negative.  In her case, it was negative.

Interesting. Scene looks like from Elfen Lied where Keade visits the grave of the dead puppy killed by the bullies.
