I cut off the ends of the adapters, because what if I wanted to have just a lightsaber with one color, and not carry around a bulky piece? So I got to work, and I hope you enjoy this fine day and submission.
May the 4th be with you, and have a good day. ;)
Update, 5/11/21: After a week of not touching this toy, Iv'e thought of a new experiment. I plan to combine the two connector pieces, I doubt the Gorilla Glue will yield any good results but we'll see. I'll start up work tomorrow, and update then.
Update, 5/12/21: With the modification finished, I have managed to put the two main pieces together, now it is time for testing.
Test 1: Simply inserting both sides into the Lightsaber without breaking. Test proven successful, shows promise.
Test 2: Being able to support another Lightsaber on the other side as if it were a standard vanilla connector piece. Test Unsuccessful, I lightly tapped it over my knee and it still managed to fall off, I'll take the fault for that, however another reason could be that the glue wasn't fully dry just yet, even after an hour.
So what'd we learn today? Gorilla Glue is strong, but it's not that strong... I have another theory, which is maybe I might have to heat both of them and melting them together, thus making a stronger hold, but that can be for another time.
