A few days ago, the video I linked above was posted. The person behind it made a GREAT job at explaining why the entire Kimba vs Simba controversy ended up being a total bunch of shit, as he did something that the 90% of the world hadn't done before - sit down and do a thorough amount of research, debunking conspiracies and citing legit sources, being straight-forward and not at all vague about the information he got and its sources.
Truth be told, I've never watched Kimba. Despite being a furry who's in love with both anime and furry/kemono stuff, I can't for the life of me sit down and watch such a convoluted and weird series. But deep down in my heart I've always known coincidences exist, and I was very upset whenever someone attempted to make me feel bad for liking The Lion King. I enjoyed watching YMS' video not only because of the way it cleared things up and completely obliterated these weak, vague and unprecise arguments a lot of people spew, but also decided to pin Kimba into the same situation using an earlier work from the 40s called 'Simba: King of the Beasts', which shows way more comparisons with Kimba than Kimba does with TLK. I don't believe any of these properties ripped off each other by any means, but it felt good to see Kimba on the receiving end in a humorous way, just so people could see just how bullshit the controversy and its claims were.
(Fyi, I'll be disabling comments soon just in case I receive a massive comments spam in regards to this whole controversy, so at the very least please stay civil and don't yell, thank you. Also due to putting less effort than usual in this pic I'll probably be moving it to scraps sometime later.)
