Argument continues between the two main schools of thought. Evolutionists, believers in The Artist, maintain that the divine artstyle evolves over time, characters being tweaked while they nap into more pleasing forms in accordance with the divine plan.

Creationists by contrast argue that this is all so much horseapples. They refute any meddling force in the world and instead posit that all characters are immutable, not changing from the moment of their construction. 'You can't change toon nature' as they say.

Seeking a compromise are the agnostics, who believe that if The Artist does exist,he doesn't have a plan of any kind and is surely behind deadline.
