Wish Bandai could make other VF's in the Hi-Metal line. Would definitively like to see the VF-25 be given a second chance after the flop that was the VF100's line with the obscene amount of partsformation, since I think that it can be done as near perfect transformation with modern technology like the latest releases such as the VF-2SS or the VF-4.

*Looks at my beat-up G1 Jetfire I bought new from K-Mart in 1985*

Don't worry, baby. Daddy loves you.

Lol. I kind of wish Big West had licensed Yamato Toy's molds to sell the Macross Valkyries in the US as Transformers in order to bypass Harmony Gold's blockade... But I doubt Bandai would had allowed their rivals at Takara to get some of that money through Hasbro. XD

I live in an American military town, where the normal rotation is through Southeast Asia and then back home, here.
So throughout the 80s there was this robust trade as military personnel stationed at Okinawa would use their status to bypass the trade embargoes and ship back boxes and boxes of all kinds of anime shit: VHS tapes, fanzines, model mags, models, which they sold either at local shows or out of their garages. And so at one local sci-fi convention there was a kind of premium Valkyrie model where the the fingers themselves were articulated, every joint. Once or twice there was even a copy of the Macross Perfect Memory super-fanzine, going for like $60.
And for additional chuckles, GISing "G1 Jetfire" will get one image where the caption says outright "Don't expect Takara to reissue this model any time soon..."
