1. You draw whatever you want.
2. As a person suffers from lonelyness, I can't udnerstand this particularly.
3. Roleplay may be fun, but not for all. It is like not everybody use smartphones, preffering classic button cell phones.

1. I do, indeed, draw that which I will, and that which I will to draw is what my watchers (as a whole) want to see.
I cannot speak for any watcher individually, but I believe I can say (again) what my watcherbase desires in general.

Beautiful friend, please know that I have drawn all that I would for myself---why would I draw X-character when someone from Disney or Warner Bros. has already done it better?
I draw because, with the internet, I can share my depiction as well as my thoughts on its subject (which is why I have watchers to begin with). :3

My phone is an old flip phone, designed only for calling the law or a taxi as needed. I have an iPad, but it is from 2013 and can no longer use much of the internet.
I do not carry InkBunny in my pocket---there is no need, for I have a computer at home that will save messages for me until I am ready to respond (and you know from experience that I always do). :3

3. Some who have wanted to RP with me, wanted only to do things to Timmy---things which I would not allow.
Moreover, I'm not adept at RP---castles and dungeons are not my thing. :3

My watchers prefer Gene over Tasli, and Timmy isn't the best choice for DA/FA, esp. as the subject of a featured submission/journal entry.

Late to the thread here, but, yeah this is a big reason I like your stuff so much.  You're traditional, old school.  Your art is very important to you, and it shows.  The personal aspect of it is a big reason why it appeals to me as a viewer.

Draw whatever the muse inspires you to.  As a watcher, I may prefer certain characters over others.  But that doesn't really matter.  When a piece is personal, spiritual even, then what matters is what you, the artist, wants; what it means to you.  As a photographer, it would never occur to me to demand that an artist draw something, unless they specifically say they'll take requests or do commissions.

While I do own a smartphone, and engage to a limited extent on social media, yeah, I don't do chats.  Haven't since the 90s. I got tired of people needing constant attention real fast.  "OMG you were offline for 9 hours!"  Yeah, I have a job.  "You went away for an hour!"  Yeah, I went for a walk in the park.  "Where were you for the last 5 minutes?!"  I'm a mammal, I had to pee.  Some people suffer from loneliness.  I suffer from too much socializing.  I'm sociable.  But I prefer old-style face time (like, actually in person), or PM, or email.  I'll respond in a reasonable time-frame.

I don't mind in-person role play, where people get together and play a game for a couple of hours just for fun.  But the online stuff, no.  Like I said above, I strongly prefer face-to-face stuff.  So, I don't get anything at all out of online play.  And the fetish and drama stuff that's involved online is a complete turn off.  Real life has so much more to offer that, online RP just can't compete.

I like traditional mediums---one of my favorite things to look at (in fact) are old storyboard sketches, esp. those of Disney, etc., wherein one can still see guidelines, etc. I like it. :3

I can attribute much of my more significant works to personal experiences, pain, etc., esp. the Timmy stuff.
Sometimes, the art of another can appeal or speak to me in like (or similar) ways as my own, albeit that's a rare occurrence. ^^;

On my end, depression and burnout keep IMs at bay. I (almost) always reply to comments, notes, etc., but do so at my whim/convenience. :3

It's been mentioned by another user that it's unusual my cubs don't have cell phones, use social media, etc. I suppose, in some way, my OCs are in the 90's, but are somehow aware of the present.
