Dr. Robotnik has won, he killed Tails, Amy, and Knuckles. Sonic tearfully says goodbye to his friends, and ends up committing suicide by noose hanging. But, during that time, Robotnik starts to feel so guilty about killing Sonic's friends, that he decides to restore the Chao Emeralds back to where they came from.
