The star represents her being a guiding light.
The Moon emerging from the clouds represents helping those to find their way when lost.
The heart represents her capacity to care about others.

Her talent ISN'T magic, per say. (She's still got a lot more magic than nearly any other unicorn her age)

Yup, I agonized for I don't know how long before I paused while snacking on some lucky charms...
Then the design hit me and that's how Sweetie got her cutie mark, LOL. Sweetie Belle's colors... with blue for Luna's moon.

Was going to originally just be a heart shaped moon, So 'lucky' I glanced at the marshmallows.
