I have very little understanding of how to get guitar patches to sound like actual guitars, let alone one with overdrive/fuzz, so for this piece I wanted to try using electric bass samples since I have a much better grasp on how to change and manipulate them from growing up with a bass and effects processor. Overall I feel content with the result, the high notes don't feel as cut-off as if I were to use one of the guitar patches, and the distortion, echo, etc. play nicer with the bass waves than with guitar.
