Chapter 1: The New Squad in Town
(Jax’s Point of View)

I woke up to the sounds of a Transport outside… sitting up slowly, I sighed to myself… now who the hell is dropping in? Honestly… I took me a minute to even find the strength to even get outta bed. After Jet’s death, the fight with Kayla… I really just wanted to take the day off and go back to sleep… but war never waits. I took a deep breath and changed into my armor, holstering my homemade laser rifle over my shoulder, I opened the door. The Transport was just flying out of view, and in the middle of the courtyard were 4 beefed up looking soldiers. One was cleary Psionic, one had duel swords crossed on his back, another looked like it had a Jetpack, and lastly, someone had a huge old-war rocket launcher on his back. As I went to investigate, I was joined by C.Sans.
*“Great, more all powerful troopers…” C.Sans sighed.
“Apparently so…” I shrugged, void of all emotion. Me and C.Sans approached the new band of misfits…
*“Alright, so what’s your story?” C.Sans crossed his arms.
“That’s a fine hello…” The Trooper with the swords, cleary some kinda fancy Lancer, scoffed in a deep Advent accent.
“Not our first rodeo, let’s just say.” I chimed in. “But really, what brings you guys here?” I added.
“Well, we are the Shadow Squad. A secret sub-section of Advent that have been developing more advanced units.” The Trooper with the Launcher replied in a similar Advent Accent.
*“Not so much of a secret anymore…” C.Sans chuckled.
“Anyway, mind explaining you're marry band here while we are here?” I rolled my eyes at C.Sans.
“Well, I am Captain, the leader of the Squad. I’m pretty much a Shieldbearer with a massive rocket launcher. Behind me is Lancer, a duel wielding Shadowlancer that can go invisible. The Purple one is Sydney jacknife, a Psi Commander, and the last one is Samantha Martinez, a Trooper with a long range rifle and a jetpack.” Captain explained. Huh… two of these names are not like the others.
“Sydney? Samantha? That sounds oddly human…” I rubbed my chin. The one named Sydney laughed and took off her helmet. Purple eyes matched with long, flowing purple hair- damn, that’s a lot of purple.
“That’s because me and Sammy here are actually human. Don’t ask how we got into Advent though.” Sydney laughed again. I smiled and took off my own helmet.
“That makes three of us, then.” I winked.
“Well, nice to know we aren't the only humans wearing this tight ass armor, then…” Samantha tired her best to stretch her arms.
*“Now with the meet and greet is over, what business do you have here?” C.Sans asked, getting right down to the point.
“Simple, the Shadow Administration wishes to Field Test the new troopers, so we got deployed to this Region to help out.” Captain explained.
*“I see… I guess we have nothing to big importance right now, but if you want, feel free to swing by the nearby settlements, they are under protection of the Blacksite.” C.Sans explained.
“Alright… Sydney, Samantha, that’s gonna be up to you.” Captain turned to his squad.
“Sounds like a plan, I guess.” Sydney shrugged. Sydney and Samantha nodded and walked off. Captain and Lancer turned back towards us.
“Alright, so how about a tour?” Captain asked.
“Alright, let’s go… Jax, how about you take some actual time off, eh?” C.Sans gave me a look. I shrugged and looked back to my quarters… I guess Sans wasn't gonna give me much of a choice in the mater, as the others were gone by the time I looked back around.

Chapter 2: Getting Shifty
(Unknown Chara’s Point of View)

My world was turned upside down as I rolled over to my side, almost falling off a steep cliff. I jumped and natural reaction made me teleport back to safety… okay… this is odd. I stood off and wiped off the dirt from my sweater. Looking around, it seems I stumbled upon an abandoned campsite… with a rather sour smell lingering. I did my best to ignore it look down the cliff wall that I found myself upon. A massive, shining city lay below me, bording a massive Evergreen Forest and open plains. Off in the distance, I could see smoke stacks burning. I was definitely not in Snowdin anymore… I cheeked to make sure my Knife was still strapped to my left arm, and turned back around… I guess if I randomly found myself stuck in a new world, I might as well have a look around.
After descending the hill side of the cliff, I looked around for any signs of life… nothing… just trees… a lot of trees… I was at least hoping to find a sign of someone, maybe even from my own home. I shrugged and entered the forest. After what seemed like forever, I found a some kinda log cabin on the edge of a river, as I approached, I could smell bodies… I resisted the urge to throw up. After recovering, I approached the door… bodies covered in black armor laid at the door, also, weird dried orange blood covered the floor inside the house, and odd looking rifles were scattered also. The house itself was a mess, tables knocked over, chair broken, glass everywhere. A big fight sure went down here, and whoever these futuristic mystery soldiers were definitely did not have a good time. But something caught my eye… sitting on the edge of a shattered window… was a rainbow scarf. I only know of one person who would wear such a thing… my brother, Asriel. But if his scarf is here… what happened to him? He never takes this thing off… I felt worry and guilt build up in my stomach. I managed to cool myself off… taking a deep breath, I maneuvered through the destroyed house and picked up the scarf… surprisingly, I could see no visible damage. I wrapped the scarf around my neck… something to help filter the smell, at least. I pulled the scarf over my nose when I heard footsteps behind me. Immediately, I drew my Knife and face- oh goddamnit!
“Whoa! Relax! It’s just me!” Frisk held up his arms with wide open, blue eyes. I sighed and put my weapon away.
“Great, you're the only other who made it safe, huh?” I mumbled through the scarf.
“Gee, that’s a fine hello… so, you got grabbed by that weird rift too, huh?” Frisk asked, crossing his arms.
“Yeah, whatever… have you seen Asriel? You better know have gone on another wild spree!” I pointed a finger at him.
“Oh relax, you made it fairly clear last time to not to.” Frisk did not look impressed. I rolled my eyes… the last time he went all Genocide, I almost destabilized my own timeline with rage. “And no, I haven’t seen anyone else yet.” Frisk added.
“Well… only thing to do now is keep moving…” I muttered and looked downriver. Then I got an idea… I jumped into the river, but before I hit the water, I summoned a huge flying knife… think of it like a hoverboard.
“Oi! What the hell am I gonna do!?” Frisk yelled from the shore.
“You got two feet, don’t ya?” I winked and started flying downriver. I few for a few minutes, and ended up getting out of the river as it lead to a massive waterfall, so I moved back into the forest. As I was zooming through trees… I swear I could see something shimmer to my left… I ended up slowing down to look, but that did not save me from getting clotheslined by a branch. With a heavy THUMP, I hit the ground, and the hover-knife disappeared. I sat up, holding my stomach… then then, the shimmer returned in front of me, but formed to become.. A skeleton?
*“Oh shit… that was a heavy hit… you okay kid?” The echoing voice of a all too familiar skeleton ringed in my still dazed years.
“Sans? What the hell happened to you?” I stood up, almost immediately falling back over.
*“Heh… Sans if right, but I’m not from you're world… hell, or even this one.” The Ghost Sans replied. *“Just meet a different Chara… Horrortale I think… he led me here.” He added.
“Wait you mean other worlds are here too?” I was shocked back into reality.
*“Yeah… based on what H.Chara told me, we are in the Original Timeline. Underfell and Horrortale have been here too, long before my timeline showed up.” The Ghost Sans explained.
“And what timeline would that be?” I asked.
   *“Regreattale.” R.Sans replied.
“Whoa… that weird glitched Undertale Timeline?” My eyes went wide.
*“That’s the one, I have just enough DT to stay somewhat alive without melting… meanwhile, R.Frisk and Chara have been here a couple weeks themselves… but I haven’t seen R.Chara since.” R.Sans rubbed his chin.
“Okay… but how did all the timelines end up here?” I was still confused six ways to Sunday.
*“All I know is that Error Sans’s magic is at work.” R.Sans shrugged. I grinded my teeth… that bastard already took many attempts on my Timeline, but mostly I had Inktale Frisk by my side… but he’s normally in the creative relm when not hangin- I mean helping me.
“Great… I guess my timeline is next.” I rolled my eyes.
*“Appears so… that would be, ah… Storyshift right?” R.Sans asked.
“How did you know?” I raised an eyebrow.
*“The Rainbow scarf totally gave it away.” R.Sans winked. That reminded me…
“Speaking off, I’ve been looking for Asriel ever since arriving here.” I trailed off… clearly still a bit… upset by not finding him.
*“Well, I got nothing better planned, how about I help you look for him?” R.Sans offered.
“Well… two eyes are better than one, I suppose.” I replied.
“That’s the spirit! Now, where have you looked so far?” The to of us ended up trailing off in search of my missing brother. (In case it wasn't clear, Storyshift Frisk is male, as Storyshift Chara is Female)

Chapter 3: Overdue Update
(F.Flowely’s Point of View)

Allright, allright… you're probably wondering where the hell I’ve been. I get it, too much time has passed without a update. But anyway, myself and R.Chara have been living outside for the past couple weeks… she never said anything about going back. She really doesn't like fighting… no matter how small it maybe… and I feel like if I even mention the house she might go berserk. Poor girl… definitely a little unstable ever since escaping her own destroyed Timeline. I think the only thing keeping her from taking her own life is me… for some reason… not like I’m anything special… like come on, I’m from a place called Underfell… FELL! Why would anyone find any comfort from me? Regardless, R.Chara does, and so I’ve been staying with her, supporting her though this whole thing. I just hope she comes to her sences soon.
In the meantime, I finally found a moment of peace and quiet. After a long magic lesson, R.Chara ended up needing some rest… and now she’s out cold. By that I mean she’s sleeping of course… not like she’s actually unconscious! She ended up cuddling up under a tree, my pot wrapped tightly around her arms. Thankfully I can move to wherever I want as long as I have contact with soil. Quietly I moved myself out of the pot an on the ground beside R.Chara. I gave one last look around to make sure no immediate threats were nearby, and I tried to remember where the house was… I figured they could use an Update, make sure R.Chara isn't hurt or anything. R.Frisk must be worried sick about her. Regardless, I managed to locate the house though the soil (don’t ask) and popped into the pot on the coffee table, right in the middle of the group as they were chatting.
“Flowely?” F.Frisk looked at the pot. “Where the hell have you been?” She crossed her arms as soon as the figured out how long it’s been.
“Listen… I’ve been keeping an eye on R.Chara…” Before I could even finish my thought, R.Frisk perked up.
“You have? Where is she? Is she okay?” R.Frisk started to rapid fire questions at me.
“Hey, Relax, let him finish…” F.Chara grabbed R.Frisk’s shoulder to calm her down.
“As I was saying, I’ve been watching her for the past could weeks, and I’ll warn you now… she’s not in a very… stable mood…” I admitted.
“Oh my god…” R.Frisk started panicking… F.Chara tried her best to relax her. “I knew bringing her to a full timeline would of been a bad idea… why didn't I think of this before!” I could tell she was full of guilt.
   “Hey… Frisk… hon, come on… relax… it’s not your fault… you only wanted the best for her…” F.Chara started hugging R.Frisk tightly.
“But really, how much longer do you think she’s gonna need?” C.Chara asked from the other side of the couch.
“It doesn't look good…” I shook my head. “I swear, I'm the only thing keeping her from losing it completely.” I added.
“Well… with you with her… I guess she’s okay.” R.Frisk wiped her eyes. F.Chara let her go.
“Speaking of, I should get back to her… I only came over because she’s sleeping… but I don’t know for how much longer.” I admitted.
“Yes, please, go! Keep her safe!” R.Frisk waved me off.
“Thanks for the update Flowely, good luck.” F.Chara added.
“Yeah… I’m gonna need it…” I sighed and disappeared back into the ground. Apparently I returned just in time, as R.Chara was distracted by Ink Sans when i got back, good thing she didn't notice me gone. I decided to pretend I was sleeping, but still listening in.
“I don’t know… I just hate how easily they fight with each other…” R.Chara mumbled. Clearly, I came back a little late. Ink sans sighed, and knelt down in front of R.Chara.
*“Chara, I know it’s tough, but everyone won't get along all the time. People think differently, and sometimes, it makes us do rash decisions.” I.Sans placed his hands on R.Chara’s shoulders.
   “I know… but I wish we could just get along…” R.Chara repeated.
*“I know you do, but you can’t keep running away. Sometimes you gotta face your problems down in order to make a difference.” I.Sans explained. Suddenly, the sound of a twig snapping caused I.Sans to instantly turn around… when I looked up, I saw… a Blue Sans?
*“Blueberry, what are you doing here?” I.Sans facepalmed.
   “Blueberry?” Even R.Chara looked confused.
*“Oh… sorry Ink… I just got bored…” The so-called Blueberry Sans came forward. I swear, he looked like a Mini-Papyrus.
“Oh my god he’s adorable!!!!” R.Chara suddenly beamed with joy. I.Sans finally noticed I was here, and we shared a shrug.
*“He he... Greetings Human! I am the magnificent Sans! But my friends call be Blueberry… for whatever reason.” B.Sans introduced himself.
“Maybe it’s because you're BLUE... BERRY often.” I’m sorry, I couldn't resist. All three of them turned to look at me.
“Oh dear, Flowely, I totally forgot about you!” R.Chara ran over and picked me up.
*“Ugh… you sound like my brother…” B.Sans rolled his eyes.
“Brother? What timeline are you from?” R.Chara asked, walking back to the other two.
*“My world is called Storyswap, but since I’m with the Star Sanses, I get to hang out in the Creative Realm a lot.” B.Sans explained.
“Star Sanses?” Both myself and R.Chara asked in usion.
*“Pretty much, myself, Blueberry, and Dream Sans live in the Creative Relm, the birthplace of the AUs. We take all the ideas from the Humans in the Original Timeline and make them come to life. We also act as the guardians of the Timelines… although that has not been going so well.” I.Sans stepped in.
“That sounds so cool!!!” R.Chara’s eyes went wide.
*“Speaking of… I should really get back to cheek on Ink Frisk…” I.Sans rubbed his chin. “And you need to stop wandering off!” I.Sans looked at B.Sans.
“Aww, don’t give him such a hard time.” R.Chara giggled, B.Sans followed.
“Anyway… sorry to cut this short, but the Realm needs us.” I.Sans started opening some kinda Rainbow Portal.
“Okay, okay… nice meeting you Blue! Also… thanks Ink… you never fail to cheer me up!” R.Chara waved. With that, the two Sanses disappeared into the portal and it closed behind them. I have no idea what just happened, but it seems to have made R.Chara a lot happier.

Chapter 4: Yolo What?
(Sydney’s Point of View)

Myself and Samantha made out way over the the Settlement that weird Skeleton dude mentioned… I don’t know what i was expecting, but it was rather impressive. Their were already other Advent Troopers in the area, and I spotted a Officer wearing inverted Black/Red coloured armor, instead of the typical Primary Red, there was also a Lancer wearing full red armor beside him.
“Hey, I’m gonna take a look around, see if you can find the Officer in Charge of Security around here.” I gave Samantha a nod and she wandered off. That brings me back to the two Troopers I spotted earlier, I figured I might at well start with them. I walked over to the Lookout Tower they were sitting around and and prepared my best Advent Impression.
“Dolo Basen!” I shouted at the two Troopers, the Lancer turned around and sighed.
“Yolo what?” Jesus, must everyone speak Gibberish here?” He muttered. I scoffed.
“Hey, not my fault you guys were programed to speak said Gibberish.” I countered. For a non-human, she spoke the language pretty good.
“Yeah well since we were specially requested by our Commander, we were programed with English.” The Lancer replied.
“Fancy… who is you're Commander then?” I asked.
“Sans, the Skeleton From The Blacksite up the road.” The Lancer pointed in the direction I came from.
“Funny, I just came from there.” I commented.
“Yeah? And what brings you down here?” The Officer I saw earlier joined in… his English was a bit more rough, but still better than most non-human Advent.
“I’m from a sub-section of Advent called the Shadow Trooper Project, along with the rest of my squad, we are on a “Test Run” to make sure our new equipment holds up.” I explained.
“Yeah? And how much of the DNA soup did they pump into you?” The Lancer asked.
“Funny you should ask…” I chuckled and took off my Helmet, revealing my Human nature. “I’m 100% Gene Mod Free, last I checked.” I added.
“Here I thought that Shieldbearer was the only Human around…” The Officer rubbed his chin.
“Actually, there are two Humans in my squad… Samantha, a Trooper with a Jetpack… the other two, Lancer and Captain, are Advent though. I’m Sydney.” I put my helmet back on.
“Well, I’m Boss and this is Zero.” The Officer, Boss, replied. “We’ve been running security along with a small collection of other Advent ever since Xcom started targeting the Settlement Grounds.” he added.
“Yeah? And what’s this Settlement about?” I asked.
“A mis of Human and Monster-like humanoids from Sans’s world.” Boss replied.
“Not the weirdest thing I heard all day, I suppose.” I laughed. Just then, Samantha came back. “Oh hey Sammy, what did you find?” I asked her.
“Nothing too crazy, there is a separate Settlement just behind this one, both have there own laboratory Facilities.” Samantha Reported.
“Huh… simple enough.” I shrugged… just then, I got a transmission from Captain… I guess we wants us back at the Blacksite. I turned back to Boss and Zero. “Guess we have to go now… see ya around.” I told them.
‘Yeah, sure. Duty calls.” Boss shrugged. I turned back to Samantha and we made our way back.
