- Notes from a raider in the desert
Yea, I know that guy. That’s one of those things magic men underground call, an Echo.
That bastard got too many names -The Demon of the Blade… A follower of the Tracks… A speed-demon. A… ‘Sableshade’. A fool who’s greatest power seems to provoke fear in the hearts of beings with a brain capable of emotional and rational thought. A warrior who heals from physical hits. A warrior who ‘desires’ to help others. A warrior who struggles to help himself. Look at this thing, he even has a mask that doesn’t cover his entire face.
Tell me explorer, how helpful is a man who raves endlessly about demons haunting his mind? He’s a threat, to his friends and allies alike. A force of nature if left to his own devices… against sheer odds. Ha! Can’t even fight snipers right… You’d have to been too reckless or down right darwinized to lose straight up to this so called ‘swordsmen’.
So, what do you curious folk want to do with this ‘Demon’? Without his toys, he’s just a man with scales for thick skin. Not even worth training in my book. Though he’s formidable at not getting hit, ever.
