Sure, the image quality my look like shit for today standards. However, considering this thing was released 13 years ago... You have to agree the screen is quite sharp and well defined. The buttons are pretty good, they may seen odd at first cause they look like real shinny, but the PSP is a absolute joy to play.
Also... Unlike most people... The absence of a second analogue stick isn't really bothering me. I mean, it would definitely make Monster Hunter easier to play, but most of the games developed for this platform were so crafty about how to outline the missing analogue problem, that you will most likely end up not caring this much.
I mean... The 3DS also happens to have a similar problem, and that didn't stop a pletora of good 3D platformers to make it's way to the handheld. Reason why I prefer the 2DS over the 2DS XL by the way... The extra analogue, buttons and processing power aren't that essencial as I first thought. Also, I had no major problems carrying this little guy around... I watched Black Panther and this portable rest on my pocket nice and fit all session.
And yes... I did my own Wallpaper, which is a option that fills me up with joy! I love to customize things, and the paid themes from Nintendo never really pleased me. Now I can giggle at my OC's smelly bottom every time I boot up or press the home button. Pretty cool huh?
Makes me wonder which other features can be customized as well...
