Backstory: When news of Parvo resurfacing first reached the Battle Creek Police Department, Blitz had known exactly who he needed to call.
It’d been months since they’d spoken, but Blitz didn’t know who else he could trust. Parvo had to be dealt with, immediately, before he could destroy their lives again. Even if Exile was with that damn corporate fatcat, Blitz would always have his back. The law had failed to deal with Parvo already. The only thing that would work would be like how they did back in their Road Rover days.
But Exile was Police Chief, now. He couldn’t get involved in anything like what Blitz was planning. If he got found out, Blitz alone would take the blame. Even the kid would be fine- he didn’t even exist, on paper.
Soon enough, it was done. And Blitz decided to give the kid one final thank you. He deserved that much, for sticking his neck out for someone he’d all but cut ties with.
He hadn’t expected the kid to come on to him so strongly, after their long, cold silence. Part of him knew they couldn’t. Blitz was in uniform, now. Whatever had been between them had been during the lowest part of Blitz’s life.
But then those feelings reemerged. When he felt like the lowest of the low, a worthless mutt… he couldn’t explain it, exactly. But the kid could take that feeling and turn it into a sublime high, transform his worthlessness into something useful and needed.
He wasn’t worthless, anymore.
But god, he wanted to feel like it, again.

Commentary:
I don’t know what I was doing with the original when I said “Sir Pavour”. I think I was trying to not directly refer to Parvo for fear it would give away Blitz’s identity too easily. Doesn’t matter either way, now, so it might as well be fixed in the remaster.
This one’s really indicative of my stupid decisions to try to give every furry “hair”. Characters like Bowser, Windsor, they already have it in their design. But sticking a blond crew cut on Blitz was just muddying the waters. He looks better on-model.
I messed around with Raph’s posture, too. I think he looks a lot more casual, now. For whatever that’s worth.
This was long before I was trying to make a united narrative of any stripe. But...yeah. It's the kind of thing that seems rebellious when you don't think too hard about it. (Raph doesn't think too hard about it.)
