Since the original version of this drawing was the first thing I actually uploaded to Inkbunny just a little over a year ago (twas a super fun year btw), I might as well re-draw it to see how things have changed.
Honestly not alot, just the drawing isn't as shaky and tails is a little wider than the original (I done got used to drawing things wider than they appear because arm and legs play tricks on you when you draw them "correct" and then you look back and they're like little sticks.)
Anyways, over the course of exactly one year and 2 days I've came from barely knowing how to draw to being able to do commission that people seem to like and can draw almost anything from reference (some call it cheating, but imitation is the biggest form of flattery )
They look similar because I direct redrew the old drawing by looking at the old one and... ugh well re-drawing it ^_^
Wow! You might say not a lot has chanced, but I see a ton of improvement! Your lines are more uniform and confident. Your details are of similar higher quality, with more consistent sizing!
You say it's wider, but I honestly prefer it. It's more substantial and fluffy, with far more weight and volume. It *feels* nicer. I also think it lends itself to a better proportioned body and head ratio.
So. A+, man. It really does look a lot better. You have definitely gotten better and I can't wait to see you get better still!! X3
