I will kick your ass in Forbidden Forest! I had a C64 once but it broke down and I threw it out. Still have some really good games.

My second computer was a C-64. And about 10 years ago, I refurbished one.

I miss my VIC 20. It was more or less commodore. When I was 6 or 7, my grandfather gave me one for my birthday, with lots of books for it. Was the sponge-brain ages for me, so I learned some of the basic language, how to write programs and store them on tape. He gave me like 50 tapes full of games and stuff, and a few cartridges.

I have a C128/64 that needs service.  It's much too old for me to diagnose myself, but I fear that it needs a new disk drive.  Outside of that, I'm not so sure that the disks I've got are still good.  It's been unused for some fifteen years now.

I learned to program in Basic with a C64.  Couldn't afford any games when I had one, but found a huge book full of code where you could manually type out a game and save it.  Noticed trends in commands over time.

Haven't had one in almost 2 decades though

I went from an Apple ][+ to an Amiga.  Some of my friends had a C=64.

I remember the family's old C=64 fondly, it was the third computer we had, after the Timex-Sinclair 1000 and the TS 2048.  After the C64 we went to a C128, and then the Amiga.
