WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! Silver Airlines Is Finally Dead!

On December 30, 2024, Silver Airways filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company expects to continue operations throughout the procedure with plans to exit bankruptcy by the first quarter of 2025.

On March 2, 2025, Silver Airways abruptly ceased flying out of Orlando. At least two aircraft, N408SV and N409SV, ferried from San Juan to Coeur D’Alene (COE). The routing brought them to South Carolina and Sioux Falls, starting on March 1. Additional fleet exits have continued through April and into May. Aircraft have ferried to YQS, St. Thomas Airport in Ontario, Canada along with SGD, Sogdenberg, Denmark.

In April 2025, Silver Airways warned that its Chapter 11 case may end up converting to Chapter 7, which would result in liquidation.

On June 11, 2025, it was reported that Silver Airways would cease all operations effective immediately and it would sell itself to Wexford Capital after no other participating bids came in to purchase its assets. Silver Airways' last flight was Flight 56 from Tampa International Airport to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport operated by N706SV, which arrived at 11:51 p.m. EDT on June 10, 2025.

And now, Silver Airways ABSOLUTELY 100% merged with Bullworth Air Charter to increase peeps coming in and out of Bullworth Airport, near Bullworth Academy. All of Silver Airways' aircraft has been sold to Bullworth Air Charter, ran by Dr. Crabblesnitch, the principal of Bullworth Academy. Ms. Philips, the Art and Photography teacher, now also manages operations and sends e-mails to Bullworth Air Charter passengers and crew on upcoming flights and whatnot. She only does this when students are out for all seasons and holidays. Miss Danvers, the secretary of the school, now also runs operations for Bullworth Air Charter.

And since Silver Airways said goodbye to their operations for good. According to their own website they said, "We regret to inform you that we are ceasing operations as of today, June 11, 2025. In an attempt to restructure in bankruptcy, Silver entered into a transaction to sell its assets to another airline holding company, who unfortunately has determined to not continue Silver’s flight operations in Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Please do not go to the airport. All credit card purchases should be refundable through your credit card company or your travel agency." That means I've made only two attempts to fly that airline and one botched (i.e. cancelled/failed/unsuccessful) attempt, which costed me my trip home to return back to school for my second semester of my senior year, my old MacBook Pro which Lizzie, another passenger, broke in many pieces in anger, my iPad Mini which she threw like an Australian boomerang at another passenger, named Kade, then damaged beyond repair, my boarding pass, and any more chances of flying with them ever.

And I've flown an airline from Dravenburg-Bromley Intl. Airport on Air Eleanoria's own 747-400, right up front in the nose, to and from Aruba via Curacao. And since Dutch Antilles Express ceased operations in 2013, this airline rid themselves of the jumbo jets to Tailslandian Airlines Cargo, converting them into freighters in the process. Now, Silver Airways is not flying anymore and Air Eleanoria rid themselves of their ATR 42 and ATR 72 turboprops to Bullworth Air Charter, adding more and more cities and increasing their network.

I know this is upsetting, but I would say farewell to one heck of a stinky failed airline.
