RIP Cormenthor

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that my long-time friend and sometimes collaborator,

, passed away Monday morning, crossing the threshold to join his wife in the Great Beyond. He was a grouchy, grumpy old curmudgeon, but he was a loyal and true friend who would do anything in his power for those he cared about. He was brilliantly creative and absolutely hilarious, brutally honest, and our little family is never going to be the same without him. He, along with

I never knew him myself, but that he touched so many others' lives in a positive way speaks well of him. I wish him a hereafter of the sort he would enjoy most, be that restful or otherwise, and hope that all who knew him can find comfort in the happy memories.

I hate to hear this, I had worked for him a time or two before and remember him always being pretty cool and popping up in my faves and comments etc. He'll be missed, I hope his family (online and offline) take time in their recovery. ♥

its always horrible when we lose a friend especially a close one :( ive watched people leave that have left empty places in me that wont ever be replaced...it sucks...but I hope will all meet again in a better time and place.

I only wish I knew Cormenthor half as well you, Verb. His stories of Estrid were partially what inspired me into writing again after not doing so since 1995. His is a voice that will be missed terribly. RIP

I did not know him but I know of the kind he person is based on your description: a great person to have as a friend. Condolences on your loss of a friend. May you and his friends and family be strong on this time of loss.
