Try naming character after flowers, plants, jewels, etc. This has an added benefit of creating "fast relationships" if needed: for example, maybe Hyacinth, Daisy, Rose and Violet are sisters?

Similiarily, maybe a character with a standing out trait (like a really white fur) can be named after it. Just remember to not sell the rights to Disney, they will mess this up and your "Snow White" will be portrayed as having much darker skin.

Disney's animators might also slip in a few NSFW details like they did in the cartoon DVDs that had to be pulled off of store shelves.

A good place to look are baby name websites. Those are full of names.
