I am one of the many few who are the last of a dying breed. As technology begins to slowly creep it's way into our lives we rely on it more and more to do things that raw human talent and logic once was resposible for. I'm not complaining nor ranting about the given topic but I am a traditional artist - one of the last of a dying breed of artist. Though this topic is very well applicable to the furry community as more and more furry art will be produced by Cs6 Photoshop and not the ol' fashion pencil and 8 1/2x11 copy paper, I very much appriciate that the furry community is progressing forward in means of its artistic contibutions and like the very animals we portray - adapting to the changing times. I think this ensures the long term survival of the sub-culture though I must always pay homage and respect to the first furries and their traditional art. Indeed this form of art and the internet is how the culture grew - causing a global expantion, though with the capabilities that new technology introduces by means of producing furry art is causing the way in which this culture came to be a global sub-culture is fading away. And so when it dose I wish, by this journal entry, to be remebered as one of the last of a dying breed.
