I've wanted to point this out on every image I've uploaded to IB, but feel it's a bit too wordy for a single image blurb so I'm going to post a short journal about it as both and apology and a shrug:
As I've stated on every posted image I used Sketchbook Pro for the iPad to draw. Those images are then emailed to myself and uploaded in the PNG format they come in. Alternatively, I could save the image to my iPad and then use iTunes to move the files to my desktop, but the save feature saves in JPG format and that totally trashes my picture quality. As it stands the PNG format isn't that great either.
So for everyone who has viewed my uploads and said "Ugh! Look at all the grainy bits!" or "What happened to the colors!" I want to say I'm very sorry; the images look so much smoother and better on my iPad prior to compression and transfer to my PC for uploading.
For now I've posted a request for a format update on the AutoDesk forums so I can export uncompressed images, but who knows if or when that will ever be implemented. Until then if I get desperate enough I'll simply take a photo with a digicam and upload that so that you can see the (almost) awesome that is my artwork.
