So I picked up the Collector's Edition of Star Trek Online from Amazon, since it was like $10 and the 60 day game cards are only $18. I played the game in beta and while I loved the ship combat (pretty much ripped straight from Starfleet Commander 3 and upgrade), but everything else about the game was pretty meh.
Well, it's got me hooked. I don't know why! The ship combat is just as fun as I remember and the away missions are just as bad(well, not *that* bad), but the feel of the game has improved an awful lot. I've been playing non-stop for the past two days.
