After the iOS 5 update for Sketchbook was released my copy started acting a bit twitchy. So while I was on vacation I figured a little update would be in order to see if the new Sketchbook update was more compatible with iOS 5 than 4. In the middle of the update my entire PC freezes and I have to hard reset.

Good news: It didn't brick my iPad.
Bad News: Lost all my saved pics and none of my apps will open.

Possible solution: Delete apps and reinstall.
Upside: Might work again.
Downside: If I do this with SBP I will lose ALL my saved sketches which would mean no editing, no coloring, no nothing. Dead, done gone forever. Provided they're even still on there to begin with.

I am now in Raeg mode.

Update: After a bit of internet foraging I discovered that there's a glitch in the iPad that doesn't allow apps to open if they were installed pre-update unless you download and open a new app on iOS 5. Although my photos are gone forever (references mostly with some background images, nothing major) my SBP content lives on...

and the interface is still twitchy.

Yah stress!

Did you link it to your PC very often? If so, you should have backups of all the files and documents which will be put back onto the iPad when you restore it - or whatever.

I synced before the update, but it only syncs certain files. Didn't sync my photos and doesn't sync the internal works for Sketchbook. It's actually a very useless item as it only syncs the free copy of Winnie the Pooh that came with the device.
