Well... Things like to happen to me a lot... This time, car trouble, but it finally was the last straw. Had my car fixed the other day, payed for it, had it back, was fine, this was a different problem though. Drove it to work today, and passed some cars ahead of me, and my throttle was stuck open, and the car would not slow down, it just kept accelerating. Gas pedal wasn't stuck, and the brakes weren't doing much good if the gas was still revving up the engine, and I knew a turn and a stop light was coming up, which I knew there was no way it would stop on it's own. Luckily, a graveyard path was open, and I was able to jam the thing in park, and shut the engine off before it blew. Brakes were smoking after that. Missed a day of work thanks to that... Had to get it towed back home. You know what it's like to be driving a car that you have no control over? Scary. I don't freak out too much, but I was literally shaking like a leaf, I thought for sure I was going to hit someone or something. Luckily, I lived. The car on the other hand, not so much. But whatever, screw the thing. It just exists to nickle and dime me and piss me off. I got a car to get me around from relatives, which I'm going to buy from them later. But still yeah... Fun times today... Very unnerving. I don't know the exact reason why it did what it did, I'm no mechanic.
