Emer's Riding Lesson
Silk and Steel
Princess Emer Elaine Lohan (Reference)
Bring It On!
In spite of their being royalty, and living in a castle full of hundreds of people willing to wait on them, Emer's family has always placed a great deal of emphasis on self reliance. This suits Emer just fine as it means she always has something to keep her occupied and because she enjoys learning new things. She already knows how to fight a little, thanks to her grandmother's insistence. Ciara taught her how to work with steel and Niamh taught her how to treat injuries up to broken bones. She has even learned a few minor spells her sire, Liane. Unfortunately, she seems to have inherited Ciara's total lack of talent in the kitchen. Poor pup. All she wanted to do was make breakfast for her mothers!

Licks his fingers and pinches the tip of her hair that is burning
"Don't worry, I'll do it for you this time and teach you how to do it later." :3

I love this. I really, really love this. Great stuff right here.

She'd appreciate that. Though really all she'd have to do is ask her one of her mothers for help. Her mother Niamh is a pretty decent cook.

Ssh! A girl of her... unique talents probably doesn't need to know there's cookery that involves deliberately lighting things on fire!

Same here! I've manage to set a few things alight in my time as well. Though never quite so spectacularly, I will admit.

It runs in the family. Well, her mother's side, anyway.

This is beautiful! I'm actually the same way in the kitchen... even been in a similar situation! Oh, Emer... xP

I've managed to set a few things on fire, yeah. Never quite so spectacularly, but the last time was when I accidentally splashed some oil on a hot burner and the next thing I knew there were flames!

That, uhm... does not sound like a good time, Megan. Nooo.... >.>

Especially not on a glass-topped stove. Fortunately, nothing was hurt, but it wasn't my best moment in the kitchen!

I've managed to burn soup. Didn't set anything on fire, but it ruined the pot!

Oh my. I did something kind of similar when I was younger. It taught me to always make sure to add a bit of extra liquid when adding in pasta! More recently, I managed to set the stove on fire while attempting a frittata, when hot oil splashed out of the pan. Fortunately the flames died as soon as I removed the pan from the burner. Considering it's a glass top stove, I dread to think what would have happened if it hadn't.

Nice weapon She got there!

It's still nowhere near as lethal as her cooking. But she's getting better. Maybe.

-2 for Stealth tho'...the burned food's black smoke signal is a giveaway... ☺

Still, it's not too bad for a pup of 11. She'll get better as she grows up.

"She'll get better as she grows up."

We are females...in the kitchen. By Nature's Law, we all do. =:P

Poor Emer. Trying to slip a b into her name. She's too cute to be crispy.

*pinches the little flame in her bangs*

Aw, thanks. The poor girl has inherited her fox mother's talent in the kitchen, but she's getting better. Slowly.
