This was basically a cover page for a future commissioning comic my mate wanted me to do. Based off a little fun rping with him when he was in College at the time. The Role play was really my fursona in his caveman form who is around Kris on the campus all the time but only he can see him but his interactions are real. Not sure if this will be a dirty comic or not but we'll see.
As I figured, the beast is the man and the man is the beast.
Just like my character Terry Belle, used in an early story as a prejudiced witchling, fooled around with a magic spell named "Unleashing the Inner Beast". It was kept on the Restricted Shelves, and for a reason !
Need I say more other than point you to the novel "The Strange Case of Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde" ? The same progression is taking place.
As Anthroo, Terry cares little for magic but relies on her strength & Kangaroo powers to get her way. The times she is Terry Belle - well, tho the spell was taken from her and the knowledge edited from her mind (by another spell), spontaneous change in Hulk-like situations.,...
Her clothes do not endure the Change, a prom dress became fit only to clean a car with ! There the situation stands, and, barring a miracle, she'd become Anthroo permanently eventually. A circus freak useful to pull wagons....

BUT if the monster is visible only to the man,then it's like the Harvey story. (I saw in one scene, after the cast left the room -for dinner or bed perhaps ? - a glass of drink lifted up from the table and its contents poured out - to vanish ! Then the glass was set down, and nobody could be seen doing this ...)
