The Nazi who made Spitzohr realize the truth about National Socialism, Shreck is the commandant of the fictional Spriggenfeld concentration camp. Cold, cruel and casual, he enjoys sipping tea and using prisoners as target practice, and although he escapes prosecution at Nuremberg after the war, he eventually comes to a much-deserved end at the hands of the Israelis some time later in the 60s.

He's based on the Ralph Fiennes' portrayal of Hauptsturmführer Amon Göth in Schindler's List, and Sylvester Groth as Sturmbannführer Hiemer in Generation War.
