Background/History
Violet was a average foal, starting as a little unicorn. she grew up studying the art of magic, but didnt get too far as she was not the brightest of the class. She learned to use basic magic to levitate objects and put up magic barriers to protect her self from falling debris if ever needed. Growing up was hard being a shyer pony sticking to her own little group of 2-3 friends always following along what they did, even if it was troublesome. Eventually they grew apart and she ended up being alone for most of her time in her home town.
One summer she was sent to her uncles home on the edge of ponyvale. She enjoyed going to her uncles ponyvale was a fun place to visit and she got to occasionaly see some of the 6 elements as well got to spend time with her loving uncle. During one of her little explorations she made her way to his attic she was told to never get into stuff that was not hers, but she could not help but see what her uncle has up there. Rumminging through some of the boxs she found some of her granmas old clothing when she was younger cute clothing from her school days. trying them on in front of an old mirror she looked cute in them all before folding them neatly and putting them back in the box. Her findings got intresting as she found a blu box with black marking around it and a sigh that said "DO NOT TOUCH" she was curious and pryed the box open ducking behind some boxs peekign to see if anything bad happanded. Nothing.. nothing at all she found that inside was nothing but a simple armor set of Night guard armor. Her curiousty died, was just armor still she had to see if it looked good. Putting parts of the armor of caused her to cringe and her body to start changing she quickly tossed the armor of shaking with fear as her body ached she was partially changed on the outside her teeth grew a little, she had wings wings now and her tail curved more then it was before. Her uncle saw this worred took her to the only one who could explain this strange change. Twilight, it turns out violet was cursed with an acient spell that was part of lunas night guard to make them bat ponys. it was irreversable but the effects were not harmfull, she would have to learn to deal with the wings that would be the hardest thing.
As time passed she was laughed at and people made fun of her for being a strange pony beign half bat and unicorn, she was shunned and moved away from her hometown going to ponyvale to live with her uncle, at least there she would not be laughed at for her... strangeness. She finished schooling and learned to glide with her wings not effectively flying just yet.
She was asked to go into the forest to gather some herbs for a local potion shop earning some bits to buy a gift for a friends b-day. During her exploration she was spun by a quick moving blur. shortly after stunned and dizzy she was struck by a powerfull magic blast knocking her back and sapping the life from her she laid there the edges of her vision was fading only seeing the shape of a pony flying down to her. She woke up in her home startled not sure what happened thinking it was a dream. cept the note falling off her as she moved. After groggly reading the note it turns out she was saved from death from a mystrious pony who was being hunted. She thought it was a practical joke, only realsing something was changed when she saw her self in the mirror on the deskher teeth grew past her lips a little, looking like sharp points, her magenta/pinkish eyes looked like they had a redish tint to them and a weird skull necklace. Not understanding she went to twilight explaning her dream and the note, her looks and how she felt. Twilight explored books and found that violet was changed revived as a vampire pony.. unsure why she has not had the hunger to feed. Another book gave her insite that the necklace gave her a state to her hunger, she long as violet had it she didnt need to feed.
Violet moved on living, half bat, unicorn, and vampire. She was happy.

Body
Violet is a purple mare, with a dark magenta and darkblue mane. She has sharp pointed batwings and a unicorn horn. She lacks magic as she lost her connection to it from her Accident. She have pink eyes with a little heart in them as well a flower in her mane alot of the time. She carries a little necklace with her everywhere. She loves her socks colored like her mane.
